I really miss the original power up concept

It made theme teams more viable, sticking w certain players all year and getting a +1 on them.

It was fun and made for some fun investing.  Wish they'd bring it back.

100 million % disagree i never want that crap back it was a HUGE time,Money & Training sink and was never worth it and never will be again..I will fight with every last breath in me every year to never have that BS back in this game.

same....made cards an investment and being able to use cards in the long run....now you get players that get 12 cards and their old ones lose almost all of their value

Nah, it can stay gone. Like others have mentioned the extreme costs just to get +1s was way too high. They'd have to significantly revamp power ups for me to be happy about their inclusion.

good riddance to it.  So much cost and unless powered all the way up the intermediate levels were usually terrible

I only miss power ups because they were good for investing. Other than that, I'm glad they're gone. I hated them filling my binder and being useless most of the time.

Yeah, wasted so much coin and time with that system. Not for me.

I have mixed feelings. I too run a Raiders theme team all year, and the powerups did allow for your cards to remain viable longer, but... the training cost, and sometimes the low OVR item to begin with, were incredible.

I prefer this system of run and replace.

everyone hating pn power ups is so wrong they were the best promo EVER!!! I used to not be good at comp so i just wouldnt play it often and wouldnt make lots of coins i ran a cardinals theme team and would often not be able to get the card but for some reason i always had training so i would be able to get and 88 version of a otherwise 200k more 90 ovr it was the best i remember using it on budda baker

Too many resources just for +1. They can stay gone.

Seems like the majority here realize how big a scam it was. What’s even the argument for power ups? Being able to use an 86 OVR instead of paying to fully power up to 89? There’s plenty of other options now.  I promise you cards are so much cheaper now without PUs.
