MCS Ultimate Kickoff Final?

Anyone else watch the MCS Ultimate Kickoff Final between Dez and Henry?

I'm really glad Henry gave this kid Dez a beat down.  I always seem to enjoy it when loud, arrogant, and likely spoiled kids get their comeuppance.  He beat Henry last year... but man... ya gotta be a bit more humble.  After beating Drini he was yelling "I'm so damn good at this game!".  

Hopefully Henry humbled him.

I agree dez was getting very cocky but got humbled by Henry

I got annoyed by Henry’s trash talking, especially in the semifinal

I watched 10 mins. It explains a lot about the Madden community if this is who people are watching. Disgusting behavior. A bunch of inbreds who clearly don’t interact with many people. Their vocab was limited to “trash” “ass” “I’m best” “You suck”.   

Why would EA put a camera on these guys? Does everyone just wanna watch the poorest sport crybabies yelling in each others faces? I’ll tell ya right now I’d be disqualified from any event because I’d knock a mf out talkin to me like that.

Whenever the "trash talking" got heated the cameras would quickly cut away to the announcers who would try to say something to cover up the cursing... but a lot of it got through to the audience anyway.  I'm sure they're going to curtail that going forward because there are a lot of kids watching.  Just fine any player 10% of any earnings for using profanity and they will clean it up.  

But I think this behavior is representative of a majority of the Madden community.  I lost to a guy in a silly House Rules game on a CPU pick 6 no less... he showboated all the way down the field AND sent me a message after the game that I was "trash".  Kids mimic what they see.

EA is delusional if they think anybody is actually paying attention to these games lol. 

I put these games on my laptop, went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and claimed the tokens when I got back lol

watching people be good at madden isn’t even cool, it’s just all cheesy BS. at least watching Ninja or Fortnite streamers is interesting because they do stuff I can’t do  I can run cheesy BS in madden if I wanted to .

Dez is a good kid, hyped in the moment. I feel like it'd be more applicable had he not done anything before, but he's won two belts in the past, won the biggest tournament of the year last year, I think some chest beating is absolutely fair. Hats off to Henry though, was cooking.

I don't have a problem with trash talk necessarily--especially if it's creative and funny, but to me he just came across as a whiny brat. I don't feel like it added anything to the broadcast. Which to be fair, I think he's pretty young, so I'd cut him some slack--like I wouldn't have wanted a camera on 15 year old me playing videogames.
