this new mode with an ovr limit is so dumb bc you can just sub in backups

You can have up to ten gold cards in your lineup... and remember the 6 UK players you need would also count towards that total.

are the core rookies allowed? Or they considered silver?

If they are 70 OVR or more... then they are gold.

Yes... 70's - 79's are gold.  80's and up are Elites.

they should limit the # of cards you can have above OVR 85 or something on the entire roster.  i can make a 65 ovr roster with 87 and 88 backups at just about every position and just sub them all in when game starts.

They can also remove the ability to pause the game like they do in Squads. Make the pause button become the quit button.  

They can also immediately fix this event by forcing us to use coach suggestions and nothing else.

I would rather them do what MLB does, this week only AFC and NFC east players(and maybe a specific promo), next week all 8 west teams and a different promo etc. the market would spike and make people keep cards for different teams/programs instead of flooding the market or quickselling.

removing the pause ability won’t really change much. I legit have my entire sweaty Mut champs offense as starters and don’t have to adjust my line-up in the pause menu OR make any substitutions at the pick-a-play screen. All I had to do was have a hb at FB (with my normal FB as #2) and I just switched my tackles and guards to the opposite position to significantly lower their ratings, but put them in the correct positions as backups to maintain chemistry and abilities.

Not to mention most people just run dollar/3-3 blitzes on D- so all I did was put corners at safety (which is what myself and a lot of people do who run blitzes), I put low rated players at OLB since they never touch the field (have my starters at backup) and put a low rated player at RE (also never sees the field for me) and my starting Safeties are just sub LBs anyways so they go there in the specialist tab which doesn’t affect the team rating at all.   

I legit have my full starter team on both sides of the ball and don’t have to pause or make any subs in the pick-a-play screen.

This event is literal AIDs and really makes me miss house rules
