Just spent 156k coins to open 2x AKA packs. The highest card I got was an 81 whilst the rest were high 70's. These packs this year are actual trash for odds, I can pull better cards guaranteed out of a f*cking gold player pack...

I don't wanna spend real money that's why lol, but the odds definitely need tweaking imo, if you're spending 78k on a pack, it should guarantee you atleast get more worth than some crap you could beat from a gold player pack for 9k.

Coin packs always lose money. Invest your coins in the AH. Respect for saving your IRL money, but if you wanna make coins off of packs it’s what you gotta do. Don’t spend money you don’t have, scheme beats team

Just use your coins in the auction house to get the cards you actually want.
Coin packs are just gambling and it is a losing bet.

There are (and should not be) any guarantees in packs. So if you spend 78k you should be guaranteed more then 78k in return? Come on...then that is just coin laundering. Packs are like slot machines...you will 100% lose over time. All the "fire" pulls folks post are outliers...in the end...just like slot machines...you gonna lose. Bright side...you lost big, so maybe it will keep you out of EA's casino.

No not the original value back, but expecting to get at least 50-60% back from even the worst pack you could get would be reasonable. As it is now, packs are worse than theyve ever been. Are some of you guys seriously defending this trash from EA??? There SHOULD be another pack strike tbh

Agree to disagree...I don't think there should be any guarantees on packs. For a guarantee I buy platinum packs or Papa Johns pizza...everything else...I consider chance and drive on when I ain't lucky.

So everyone is saying there shouldn't be guarantees...Yet there is when you pay real money for a bundle and get a topper....interesting argument. All I'm saying is the same should apply for coins with the different tiers of packs to some degree and it needs tweaking. Im not expecting profit on every pack or to become a millionaire, but what is the point in opening an AKA pack for 78k and ending up with crapper cards than spending 9k on a gold player pack, even if overall it still results in a net loss.

It just feels unbalanced at the lower end of guarantees for what you get is all I'm saying and it should atleast try to justify the price increase for the packs. Gold pack gives 1x 74+ minimum and is 9.5k. AKA guarantees 2x 74+.and 1x 81+ .that costs 78k.... that's an 8x markup to guarantee 1 extra minimum 74+ card and an 81...
