I just bought the 87 Jerry Rice Card and put Slot Apprentice on him. I also set him as Slot Wide Receiver 1.
But it doesnt matter where he stands, i can never choose his Hot Routes.
What am i doing wrong?

Just sub him into the slot position for whatever formation you're running. For example if you're running gun doubles, just sub him in on the playcall screen. Should be triangle on Playstaton or Y on Xbox. However, if you have him in Slot #1 specialist position he should be in the slot in most formations. If you are running two wide with no slot WR then you won't be able to activate the Apprentice Hot routes. Hope this helps.
