I understand if it ain't broke then don't fix it, but at some point these low-lifes should learn to play the game of football rather than make it about what the CPU players on your team can't cover. Any tips on how to stop this? Helpful adjustments?

I meant wha5 play are they spamming against you…
If they only run 1 play, it should be fairly easy to counter.
a lot of people just quit out of those games, especially if it’s mut champs. This has been my biggest complaint for years, and this year even if I get looped and still score on people they just keep doing it. it is boring and it does take the fun out. If you don’t care about your record as much just quit, let them have their win, try playing someone else. It still takes some skill to set the loops up and you can still quick hike them so not everyone’s doing it thankfully.
I love the people who try to be like the MCS guys and make 50 adjustments just to throw an interception and rage quit. Hilarious. Or they try to run man and end up leaving guys wide open for TDs
I agree. It’s annoying and not fun. just obliterated someone doing this in a Super Bowl. Still not fun. Oh, let me guess, man 0 blitz? Or are we going to get real crazy and call db fire 2 this time? Gonna press and put everyone in the box even though it keeps getting burned. Then on offense they have some like 2-3 play YouTube scheme that “works regardless of the defensive coverage“ and once you figure that out they still spam it anyways.
Thankfully a lot of these dudes quit in second half, but still… Poor programming and these YouTubers who lab for exploits then sell “scheme” ebooks or whatever is the death of the community. I feel like the majority of the people I play against are significantly more knowledgeable about exploiting madden than they are at understanding football.
How do you counter DB fire? I’m 30 now and not able to play as much. So not able to keep up. Played a couple H2H games and that’s all it was today.
mb bro. naw jk i only spam 1 play and its dagger out of gun bunch y-flex but when it stops working then i run coach suggestions. so not rlly spamming anything here
The RPO stretch is the only one that annoys me.

For stock DB fire 2, I typically I block my RB, slide my oline to either side, and ID the slot corner on the opposite side from where I slid my oline.
Homie
Cowards are going to be cowards. Playing the game like their scared of their own shadows feverishly spamming plays they watched on YouTube or from the "LOL Madden Pros" .
But here's the real kick in the nuts. This game isn't made for you and I anymore. It's specifically made and tuned for the "one play no skill skids". They're the target audience and we're just the ones on the sidelines now wishng for the glory days when players had courage and skill.

Yup just wasted some guy that kept running drag and some pivot play over and over. He scored, then I ran the kickoff back with primetime. He immediately went back to the drag and I got a pick 6 with Sean T. He rage quit. It was glorious. But yup you’ll run into noobs majority of the time trying cheese with the same 2-3 plays. It‘s sad.
