You don't have to though. Scheme is Always greater than team.

I had that in Seasons... but was able to somehow manage two kick returns for TDs in one game! EA must have matched me with a guy with low golds as backups. On one the sea parted up the middle and on the next one, he kicked it to the left... Franco juked left towards the sideline and no one was there to stop him running it all the way back.
It's because Champs is All Madden. Assuming you were playing regular seasons, kickoff returns happen. They rarely happen on All Madden.
I love it as a casual player that doesn’t care for “competitive” gaming, beat me with your god squad running glitch plays, year congrats on the 1000 coins

Just stay in the game and take your drubbing like a man, casual. Money spenders need our damn stats - so just let us feast on your rotting corpse of a team.

They happened a lot at the start of the year... but not as much lately. Other than that game... I haven't gotten or given up a kickoff return since about a couple weeks after the game dropped. I always try to have good backups (that have the Big Hitter trait) just for this very reason...
Never understood non-competitive gamers being mad at competitive gamers. I know, imagine actually wanting to win in a football game lmao such a crime
So what’s yalls primary goal when playing MUT? For me, it’s always been win/loss on champions/weekend league. Now, those wins are basically pointless. I feel like they took a huge part of the game away.

Huh? what are you even trying to get at Here?

I know lol!
So that’s why, when I hear “keplapsmash—tap tap tap smash pat tip tap smack splat” on the microphone (my best textual impression of someone smashing 100 adjustments over the mic) before the first play is picked, and then see they did all that just to come out in I-form or singleback tight formation for the first play of the game; and then flip the play then motion the wide receiver twice just to run HB dive for 3-6 yards…. That’s when I know i will undoubtedly be outschemed!
Lol it’s just an example but you can tell right away when someone plays H2H 40 hours a week.
I hate this setup so much. MUT for me used to be about grinding out 13-15 weekend league wins and feeling like I had accomplished something.
Now when I get a potential pick six I have to think about purposely getting tackled so I can try to pass for a TD before the other player quits. Complete nonsense.

Spoken like a true savage.
Ducati0307 said:Bruh... I had my best WL last week... 22-3... and I needed that last win to finish my 4th quarter points and 3rd down conversions... I had to give the guy a two score lead and kept falling down on 1st and 2md down just to get into 3rd down situations. It was sweaty as f*ck.

...said like every other mediocre player after every loss.
I hear you and it is tough. I find myself trying to keep opponents in the game (this is a first for me as a MUT player for since MUT started), in order to get my stats. It’s weird to not run your scheme just to trick your opponent into thinking they can hang with you.
I recommend you try it. It works.
