Kick meter disappeared?

My kick meter disappears on field goals and extra points

Is this happening on all field goals and extra points or only certain ones? Was this in one game or does this happen in every game you play?

The kick meter can disappear as a part of the ice the kicker mechanic.  This typically happens on kicks near the end of the game and I believe your opponent has to call a timeout to activate it. I believe ice the kicker can also happen as part of momentum system if your opponent gets enough of it. If it's not either of those it's probably a glitch unless there's some setting that turns it off.

you playing mut champs? there’s no kicking arc on all madden, so i use the precision ability on mcmanus

Disappeared for a few drives in a solo battle and then reappeared

That's weird. Was the cpu winning at any point in this?

I've had this happen in 23. The only way to fix it for me was to shut the game down and boot it back up. Yet another glitch from EA. The meter still exists though if you have your timing down. It just isn't visible.

Yes, it just happened to me... 3 seconds left I call a timeout so I can setup for the game winning field goal, I'm lined up for the kick... The computer calls a timeout, now it's time to win the game the screen is shaking... Power of the kick accurate, now it's time to line it up, how the meter just disappeared and I miraculously won!!!! I hope it's not in Madden 25!!!!!

When i sub in Koo as my placekicker, specifically for kickoffs, i've lost the kicking meter.  When I put Pat McAfee back there, magically the kicking meter arrow comes back.  I suspect it's some glitch due to the baked on abilities I've got with Koo, but cannot say for certain.  Koo is 10-11 speed faster, which would be vastly superior for kickoffs, but i prefer to have an actual kicking meter, so I continue to use Pat.

The number of user tackles I'm making on kickoffs with McAfee is surprising, but tons of my dudes are constantly getting pancaked from all the Vanguards, so it's clutch to be in position to stop those kick returns for touchdowns.

Thankfully I haven't experienced the kicking meter glitch on FGs or PATs.  Please keep us posted if you ever figure out the cause.
