Sad State of this Game

This game is really in a pathetic state.  Even compared to some of the pure trash we have been exposed to in the past.  Just to give some insight.  I’ve played religiously for about 7 years.  My son introduced me to the game and I loved the team building aspect.  I’ve never been a great online player, but I grinded solos, multiple accounts, the whole 9 yards and I did ok onlineI had gotten to a point where I would win about 15 Champs games last year, and between that, solo battles, and some squads with my son and his friend, would get decent rewards.  I would play a lot - probably too much.  This year, there is nothing to grind.  Online is horrible - I’m not sure what they’ve done with the matchmaking, but I either win easily or get my doors blown off.  Last week, I started off 6-0 in champs and then lost 9 straight….but let’s get to the point - I had surgery last week and I’m going to be laid up for a couple of weeks.  In past years, I would have probably been on this game all day grinding rewards and building my team - since I can’t really do much of anything else.  This year, I have played for less than 1 hours a day for the past 3 days, and don’t see that changing - I will wait until 10:30 to log on and complete 1 solo battle on the easiest level to knock out my season and comp dailies in one shot - will probably do whatever AKA solos come out at 1:30 and that’s it.  They literally have a captive audience that has no desire to even turn on the game.  I finished the UK pass, but haven’t even touchedthe NFC solos - and probably won’t because they are so long and painful to play, and I’m sure the “81+” reward will be a straight 81, that it’s not worth it - what kind of reward is that for 430+ stars on these type of solos?  Should at least be an 85+.  This company has lost total touch with the player base and has been absorbed by greed, to the point that they will lose everyone but the whales.  Sad thing is that the gameplay has actually improved somewhat if you can get matched against someone who isn’t a total sweat with an ebook or YouTube channel.  What a waste……

I'm with you. The mindless grind of beating the CPU 170-0 once a day in solo battles is tiring

This is my first year doing it since like 16ish. The greed is somehow significantly worse than it was back then. There’s really no excuse for the UK solos and rewards, I strongly believe they are trying to get people to stop doing the solos altogether and just pay for levels. Don’t really see any other explanation, UK solos take what, like 7-10 hrs all for a bound 88 you don’t even get to choose?

Anyways, this will almost definitely be my last MUT for such reasons. If you can’t play this like a full time job then you need to spend substantial money to compete, and that’s unforgivable imo.
