And this isn’t the new try hard. A kickoff to the primary KR is going to get housed at a ridiculously high rate.

I kick off normally and havent given up a kick off touchdown in over 30 games. It’s very easy to guard, but so sad people only squib kick now

I think backups are getting better so the gaps on the coverage team aren’t as gaping. Hopefully, we get to a reasonable place.

I have noticed a lot of people doing this .  Really don't see the use in it I get around the same amount  of yards on kick off either way

If you kick to good ppl it gets returned at a fairly high clip for a touchdown(own top 3 speed/juke guys in game, all upper elite backups at kickoff positions, and good stick).  Even if they return the squib/sky kick to the 35.  Thats a win at the higher levels.
