Problem is, the matchmaking needs serious work. People shouldn't have to try to be available to play on certain days to be put against fair matchups. They def need to change something.

they press me and my guys can’t get off the line or get bumped. If I press then they have easy 1 throw TDs
There’s a ton of videos on how to beat those on YouTube. It’s worth watching a couple videos- I get free bombs against man almost every time and I’m rocking Finneran (granted he has great route running and a high release rating) and the 86 Cooks.
You had me at smashed.

Slot WR corner route if they're spamming the man zero blitzes. If you can get a tall WR like Calvin / Finn / Evans, especially if they have 90 MRR. Throw it right as the receiver is going to break. Generally pressing is going to put them in bad position. If the CB is behind the and chasing, throw a bullet high pass. if he's backed off but throw a normal bullet pass. You'll generally know if this is going to work if a safety or CB is directy lined up with the slot WR. The presnap route should be going right between the legs of the CB or just before the safety's . They often will adapt after once or twice. If you see them shade outside then change the slot WR to a post route. You need slot apprentice but this is usually enough to get them to stop spamming man blitz
My favorite play to deal with these guys is : Shotgun Flex Y Off Wk - Flanker Spot
Put your RB back to block. You can decide whether to keep the TE back to block too. I prefer to put him on an out route and will be a read if the slot WR has his zone covered or it looks like he's going to be covered. Final read is the right side WR doing the weird post/ in route and is good for things like cover 3. Shifting the line to the right usually helps. A fast release is also good. I run PIT TT so i have Bradshaw and there is almost no delay. Same with Moon + GS.
My biggest issue is the stupid pass mechanics. I’ve lost so many games because I keep trying to throw touch passes and they throw as bullets that get picked. It’s so frustrating man, like wtf did they do?
Something I learned this year was to eat the clock early and often in most games. I've been playing mut since 16 and have never had a high powered offense. My strategy is almost always to dink and dunk, run the ball, and be smart. I can throw if I have to in a game. Like maybe I just can't stop my opponent, but in mut Champs I make the game short.
The best advice I can give on d is to find a way to get some pressure but mix it up. You can't just sit in stock coverage generally speaking. I'm an average player but if you run stock cover 2,3,4 whatever, I'm going to beat it.
I'm 11-1 this week and in my last 9 games I think I went over 200 passing yards twice. You don't have to be crazy
I can't even get my challenges done because every time i even think about a pass, the other person somehow may aswell be screen sharing me because he knows EXACTLY where im throwing...im sick of this sh*t ass matchmaking
Anytime I have trouble with a particular scheme someone is running. I really use them to lab so I’ll be ready for it with my next opponent. Work on your audibles defense adjustment. Do random crap. You’d be surprised what you might find.
Seems hit or miss every week I do okay in seasons making it to super bowls , champs is tough as hell. last week I got like 8 wins on Monday; this week I was busy didn’t sign in until Wednesday night and I’m already like 2-6. lol some matchups the other team is so fast they magnet snap to every play and my team is like slow turtles. i have like a 42/50 bucs TT

I started back up during ladders on Sunday thinking it would be less sweats and miscalculated, badly.
Returned again yesterday late day and evening, and same insanely difficult matchups.
Trying again Thursday. What has been your experience waiting?
I went 10-6 this week and got all my competitive pass objectives. I only played on Wednesday and Thursday
