At this point of the game, I just have to think that those idiots who made Madden 24 just want you to spam man cov.

It's simply unbelievable how bad is zone coverage (match cov) this year. My safeties are Sean T, Kam and my cbs are Sherman Ramsey and Terrell and when I run cov 4 out of 33 cub its incredible how bad they play. Match coverage doesnt work. Match principles are totally wrong... i mean I know how they work cause i ve been using this D since madden 21 almost. You see random matches all over the field

So I just have to think that they want you to spam man coverage like a loser every single down. Someone of you feel the same?

I too gave up on zone a few weeks ago because the AI is broken it seems for zones. Had to invest in better man corners and honestly defense is easier for sure. I didn’t want to be a man guy, but apparently it’s the only way to get stops in this game.

just wait till the loop is patched. Send 6-7 man will be king. Investing in man now is the way to go Especially getting more 90/90 guys

i refuse to play man cov cause its just so lame and boring and i´m doing just fine

Players in zone (even with 90 like Sean T) will literally stand still, watching a player catch the ball right in front of them only for some bad looking, way too late tackling or swatting animation to be triggered.
The gameplay is historically bad overall this year. The game honestly looks like an old arcade sometimes where its just a bunch of animations getting triggered at certain spots.
