Title. Not really fair if the one starting off on offense scores and converts a two point conversion and it's game over before the other player even gets a chance. Feel free to rebuttal but I don't see any way around this position at this time.
Except when its 1st and 25 and I pick you off and win. Play better defense.

Just make sure you never lose to someone the way I described.

I have, and I have beaten people the same way. Offense has an advantage, but it's not a guarantee win by any means. The house rules last year where it was tug of war where you could punt was a problem. Anyone who started on offense was almost a definite loss because the team with the ball last could punt it over the 50.

I appreciate the gungho approach. I'm working on my defense but it's pretty tough this year.
I like being on defense first i know if I get a stop I’m most likely going to win and I got for two every time

Oh I do like it myself, don't get me wrong. I don't have a big problem with how it works - only a slight problem. House rules is a chill, no pressure way to test things out and I like labbing some defensive concepts with it. So it's not a big deal. I just think there should be a way the other player can at least have a chance to tie the game if down by a TD and 2 pointer.
just make a stop. it’s good the opp can win first drive imo because the games are then quicker. if you both need 2 drives to win it’ll be a nightmare. plus picks cause rage quits

I havent tried it but I disagree with your premise. I didnt agree with changing the OT rules to a more college like OT either for the same reason. Nowhere did it ever say both teams "get a chance" on offense. Thats what the coin flip is for. It really defeats the whole purpose of sudden death making the changes they made/what youre saying you want and feels a bit participation trophyish.
That whole change (in the NFL anyway) all came about because of one of of the golden boys (cant remember if it was Josh Allen or Mahomes) that the league and casual fans wanted to see in the SB god forbid lost in OT earlier in the playoffs (I think to the hated Patriots at that who everyone was sick of seeing win) too bad. Play defense then. Or play better the first 60 minutes so it doesmt go to OT in the first place.
Defense is part of football too. (The one concession ill make is it almost isnt in this years madden so on some level I can see your point with this particular event) but even to that I say EA should fix the game, not work around it by "giving both teams a chance."
