I notice that when I am aggravated, I will quit more quickly and more often. Doesn’t take much
Yep. Welcome to Madden 24 man

Because EA with their greed made it so a loss is a massive waste of time in every way so most people dont wanna waste a second more than neccesary. I agree its a bit earlier than Id expect but depending on how long theyve been playing/how many frustrating games theyve just had I could see it happening earlier than usual for some people. I dont even PLAY champs once I get the three objectives that dont have the win requirement. Why bother?
because there is zero point in playing mut champs if you don’t win. This is the 1926228th thread on this why keep repeating it lol? Not everyone has 5 hours a day to play so they don’t want to spend an extra five minutes to have no stats tracked

Quitting after 1 drive is crazy tho, like u really don't think u can comeback from either 3 to 8 points? I get if you're down 2 or more scores. But a 1 score game you quit is wild to me.
Again if they only have let’s say an hour to play and it could take 5-15 minutes just to get through a few drives that won’t matter why stick around? Not everyone can sit on all day and play lol. plus most people just run meta defenses. If they’re getting instant pressure or only running the ebook schemes most people quit. they already know how it’s going to go

You're all trying to treat this game like its not a broken pile of crap or that 99.99% of playerbase run the same stupid plays on repeat.
I'm not going to sit though a game where all my opponent does is throw to the sidelines or run RPOs. Whether I'm winning or losing, I still need to be entertained.

100% agree. If I determine that my opponent is either waaaaay better than me or running glitchy plays that my defense just stands and looks at, I will quit immediately. Not worth the time. If my opponent has a decent, realistic drive and scores, I’ll stay in. I don’t think anyone wants to waste time in a game just to let their opponent run up stats for objectives when they get no credit themselves - waste of time. Blame EA, not the person who quit. It’s their dumb rules and glitchy gameplay That cost you your objectives.
I made a thread like this last week. It didn't go well lol
Well, I’m the opposite take the beatings and try to figure out why four can beat five and swarm Vick like he’s a statue…. or why my jet sweep back decides he should turn around and run into the back running the ball, instead of keeping the fake in play (must be afraid of getting tackle).
And then on D wonder why the player in user decides not to move anymore and understand how does that player make those clutch catches on 4th down.
I have come back from 24 down and had a guy who was up by 18 tell me to quit , along with a few other nasty messages at half, a day or two ago . Yeah I beat that guy by one.
To each their own take the W and move on if they don’t want to waste their time. In reality that is all this is to us; a time consumer to escape reality.
I am not trying to get all sweaty. I just wanna have fun, consume some beers and cannabis, and chill tf out.

That's fair but if your gonna quit after you give up td or give up 3 it's like what's the point.
