Abilities vs Players

What do you prioritize? I almost never have abilities/if i do its not many because when I have coins theres always a player id rather upgrade to/i sell almost all cards of any value as part of the same line of thinking I guess... Whats your take/advice?

For an example ill probably be buying CMC soon and I know alot of people say to put jukebox or rb apprentice on him, but i also want an upgrade at possession type wr with some size, probabky cant afford megatron or evans, but hoping mayne juju as a compromise, worst case scenario, drake evans maybe which wouldn't leave much if any for abilities? What do you do in these situations?

Also CMC cant get himself out of a wet paper bag

Generally, I try to prioritize having good abilities. Historically, abilities are very strong and the most important factor for determining if a card is usable. Though I'm willing to make exceptions for players I like.

Damn guess after these upgrades I have to change my whole approach lol start saving for abilities smh its too bad they make us spend coins (training) on them, be nice if they just came with their respective players and you just had to manage balance the AP on what was equipped/active on who.

Abilities… game is run by animations and abilities trigger this

A new card might not always be better than what you already have, stats are aren’t the bees knees.

I agree with the others that Abilities tend to be most important in MUT but this year, it seems as they are less OP than before.

Thanks guys, so i take it for example in this case, im better off buying say, JuJu and making sure i invest in some abilities for him and CMC/some other of my top players as opposed to buying Calvin and having no abilities? 

Whats the usual cutoff for a drop off in quality of player comparison for you guys where youd take the player instead? Has to be lightyears better?

One final bump in case anyone feels like chiming in on that last question or i guess ill assume most people would agree and don't feel like bothering to confirm lol
