Why are people still quitting Champs games so early?

I'm 5-1 and last two guys quit after I scored on my first drive.  Seriously... this is so dumb.

because the truth is that most people are quitters and don't want to work for anything, especially in Madden.

without actual WL rewards there is no point .....get my objectives and im out asap, EA did this

So like why quit then?  They can still compile stats. 

Since I now have the max of 7 wins to get xp... my new strategy is to keep run comitting until they figure out they should pass.  Once they have the lead they should stay in the game a while.

That's what I'm saying lol. Actually got lucky and ran into someone earlier in my 2nd champs game who I did this with. Made a decent dent in my Champs part of the pass

I finished a game that started off close that turned into me half paying attention bc something came up and ended up losing like 50-14 lol I def would've quit much earlier if they hadn't changed that.

It happens all over. I have the same issue in squads. My partner throws one int and they quit.  Kids aren’t being brought up right.  You Get a participation trophy for starting and quitting…

Same here I’m on new gen Xbox 4-1 last 3 wins came from people quitting in the 1st quarter after I score Smh.
