I have been harassing via tweet the nflmaddendirect account talking about this issue. I have tried everything I can from deleting notifications, removing notifications, turning off music, etc. Nothing has made these menus bearable besides coming straight out of a game. I am def a market/pack pull kinda addic- player. So this update has been awful for me. Will come back here if I find a fix or get through to someone.

Crazy that gameplay isn't affected.. Its just the menus.. Switching out players, completing sets, upgrading, etc, usually takes 10 minutes is taking 45 minutes. It's awful. Every single click takes forever. I thought I found a loop hole last night by switching my lineup in the head 2 head screen.. It seemed normal doing it that way last night but went back to being garbage today.. Idk how this isn't a high priority immediate fix for EA.

Same as you hear bro. You can click into something or into your lineup but after that if you click on auction house or anything else it sometimes freezes up to 30 seconds.

I’m having the same problem for old gen Xbox. I know it’s the same for old gen. Please EA fixed the servers for all of old gen

I think it is safe to assume any menu lag and most updates are referring to next gen consoles only. they have abandoned current gen consoles and auction house even tho that is another market still worth staying in.

So annoying if this is true. Why sell a game on a platform you have no intention of making usable. EA needs to be sued if this is the case.

Yes thank god it’s not just me last night I was in the super Bowl and it disconnected before opening kick 😤
EA shouldn’t have sold the game for old gen if they aren’t allocating any resources, such as servers and devs. There are only downsides for them, pissing off the community and losing sales in the mid and long terms.
