With wins meaning next to nothing I think seasons might be the way to go
Could be people losing interest in the game. I know I've quit out of more games recently because it just wasn't an enjoyable experience to play.

Not really. Stats matter so why quit and avoid opportunity to complete the stats?
What a crazy array of responses to a simple question in my original post!
From people who don't think rewards from a "competitive pass" should involve "work" (ie, effort)... to people that simply refuse to play against toters... to people who think Legend should star in Disney's live action remake of "The Princess and The Frog".
My revised strategy in Champs worked out well for me and I was able to complete my objectives in just a few games after I posted. I allow my opponent to go up two scores by run committing until they pass for easy TDs (some guys have the audacity to showboat all the way to the end zone). Then I buckle down for a real game. If I come back to quickly... I just let them score again.

Is Legend the princess or the frog? Asking for a friend.

Is there a midgame workaround until EA fixes this? Or is there a DONT Do this that triggers it, because its not every game?
I'd be SUPER curious to hear if you ever discover a workaround. This issue has been plaguing me since `23. I didn't play enough of `22 to truly know if it happened/happens there, as well. There's no real rhyme or reason how or why it's happening, from what little i gather. I cannot reproduce it on command, so avoiding it is even more difficult. Buggy ass shit, oof.

I was waiting for someone to ask that question. I think we'll just have to wait to see the trailer.

Once it appears, I have not found a way to remove it per say.

That's why it makes no sense to quit. Just compile stats

I've played a couple games against guys that i Score on over and over while they're trying to play tough D then I clearly let them score and they're high stepping into the endZone its pretty funny.

people are so mean to me when I do this... I even offer to let them win...
Ducati0307 said:So like why quit then? They can still compile stats.
Since I now have the max of 7 wins to get xp... my new strategy is to keep run comitting until they figure out they should pass. Once they have the lead they should stay in the game a while.
I run FG block so i can immediately go back to offense. If I have a hard time moving the ball on them then I will quit, and try to get a lesser opponent. I want to play seasons, not mut champs.

FG Block is a good strategy because it should signal to the other guy to do the same thing.

nobody has done it for me in the 18 games I played this weekend. People are tools. nobody cares about your 20-5 mut champs record but if you go win 30+ SB and have a 4:1 win ration in seasons people might be impressed if you care that much about madden. I hate playing mut champs but as a NMS player I need the free content, and I'm really seeing that now not having the pickens because I refused to play against the loop blitz.
