Can we not. The idea of re releasing content and hurting people who pulled the item/invested in it/etc is gross.
It doesn't make sense not to. The current LTDs are going to drop in value as better cards come out anyways.
And a decent amount are basically at quicksell value now.

As a person who has spent nothing on this game for the last 5-6 years… LTD’s are one of the best ways to utilize the market not only to stack a team but to also make your coin stack. Telling players “oh man better act fast this card won’t be here” is completely disingenuous if you’re going to release them again 3 days later. That’s what redux‘ are for. If you want cards back in circulation faster then you should want them to release Redux at a faster clip
Or keep them in circulation longer to drive price down by virtue of how many are available… or increase pack odds which are atrocious and contribute to the reason these cards are expensive. Either way, rereleasing is The least effective way to make things more attainable
If you invest in ltds i'd recommend not doing it with skill positions, or do it when we get an overall boost, 88 to 89 or 89 to 90. those ltds are usually safe, the chiefs RT, and decastro were fairly safe. WR are always bad, qbs are usually bad as soon as they drop new cards at those positions they lose their value.

I know what I’m doing my guy. And furthermore where are redux cards? wheres older LTD cards. I’d like to grab cards like Robinson that are viable for less. If we’re picking and choosing where and when to re release content then where’s the consistency and where’s the transparency. I know this fan base loves getting bent over week after week but I haven’t paid extra for anything over the last half decade, I’m not doing it now, and one of the ways we do this just got smacked in the mouth lol
So… they’re just gonna re-release LTDs instead of doing reduxes? Don’t love it. LTDs are rentals yes, but still not trying to pay 420k for an 87
They only did it to sell packs. those two AKA‘s they just dropped wasn’t going to get people to spend and they realized it so they put the LTD’s back in to entice more pack buying. EA is about that dollar first.
Is this what EA plans on doing instead of Redux versions of previous LTDs? Is this confirmed?

You DO realize thats why they are doing it right? They arent even trying to hide it this year. Theyve waged all out war on NMS players every way possible this year, this is another way of them doing that. They always tried to make people spend money but theyve taken it to new levels. I picked a hell of a year to get back into MUT for the first time in about five years. Smh

my bad, i didn't realize they literally put the ltds back in packs
So basically what happened here is people invested in Allen and James thinking they would never be in packs again and now EA put them in packs again, destroying those investments? Has this ever happened before, where they put ltds in packs again? EA is truly something else

Well, the idea of "investing" in virtual trading cards in a video game may be part of the issue here. All of this, on both EA's part and the community's part all came about because of the monetization of the game. Micro transactions in general have killed the video game market for people that just want to play the game. Now it is all about how to make money for everyone. EA is obviously a for-profit company, so I get their angle. Streamers have monetized the game for their benefit, which in my opinion drives some of the EA decisions that everyone hates so much, but again it is how they earn their living, and I am not about to tell someone how they should earn a living. I have just forced myself to disengage from the hamster wheel of having to always have the latest, greatest cards from every promo. I grind the Season and Comp pass, and will always finish the Season pass, and fall short on the Comp Pass because I don't play much online.

Except.....saying something is a LTD release and giving release dates, expiration dates ...and then going back and re-releasing them (as opposed to releasing Redux cards which don't have the QS value) really is shady and possibly a violation of some commerce law. EA used to at least try to veil their manipulations and liberties that they take with consumer laws, but it seems that this year they are just basically not even trying to conceal it. Honestly I don't think the Madden Franchise is going to be as viable in future years. Revenue has been down for M24, more customers than ever are destroying the game in reviews , social media, etc....Even content creators can't keep from bashing EA. At some point the NFL is going to give rights to another company, maybe 2K.
