How Do You Defend the Play Flip Offense

I see so many dudes doing this bs online. They flip their play before snapping it and it completely destroys the defensive assignments. My corners literally flip assignments from across the field.

Like right before the snap, my far left corner switches onto their far right receiver. The receivers are always on a wheel and just burn the corner running from across the field. And this is happening on both sides so it's impossible to defend. It was breaking zone coverages too by flipping assignments. 

I tried base aligning and turning auto flip off, but it seems some people know how to break that pre snap as well. 

What is the counter to this play flip cheese?

Hit triangle or Y if on Xbox and then select man align (especially if you're running man), that should solve it. Sometimes you do have to manually move a guy back to where he should be or quick adjust their zone. If you have to you can call timeout if you can't get guys in position before the snap.

Choose 'Base' align. I had the same issue with guys cheesing the corners and figured out that choosing that will keep the corner on the right side

Yeah yesterday I played against some pro who was struggling when I switched to base align, but then he figured out a way to break that too. Haven't seen as many people abuse the Base align, but it's disappointing that even that could be broken.

Other replier said to try a quick adjustment to man align. Might try that next time and see if it works. Sucks that the game is blatantly broken and people can't seem to score without abusing it.

Yep. I'm looking into the Double Mable stuff cause i'm tired of them running deep crossers and corners with the WRs running right by my corner in cover 3 that just stands there. That stuff literally takes zero talent. I have a lot of respect for players that beat me without doing that cheap, unrealistic crap.

Usually auto flip off stops it from happening. Not sure why it doesn't work for you. At least I haven't had that problem yet

Same man. That shit is annoying af. Dudes running db blitz the whole game and either corners/crossers on offense, or flipping the play and completely breaking the defense. Very few dudes seem to run actual offenses. And it doesn't help that people have the best players on release date week to week.

I still win majority of my games despite the BS but the play flipping is ridiculous.

To stop the crossers and stuff, something that works pretty often for me is a cover 3 with an over the top adjustment and then an outside adjustment. I usually use a sub to cover the middle and my safeties/corners cover the sideline pretty well with that adjustment.

Another thing working for me is just a man blitz with outside alignment and the DBs showing blitz so that the safeties start in/around the box.

Unfortunately actual man blitzes don't even seem to pressure as well as the nasty db blitz or 3 man outside contain rush, but at least it's a more realistic defense that holds it down pretty well

Just auto flip off, or auto flip off + another adjustment?

Like should i also base/man align with it off, or just turn it off and leave the rest?

So I didn't know you could do Outside AND Over the top adjustment for DBs. I'm on old gen and usually do one or the other. Can you do both on xbox one? I win 80% of my games so I still do fairly well, but it is 90% of games that I see the same type of BS plays. Roll out QB, wait for the crosser or post to get outside the DB after 5 seconds, throw it, DB doesn't move and WR catches it on the sideline. Frustrating. I spy the qb with a DL or LB so that takes care of the roll out sometimes, but I struggle with the constant crossers and deep posts. I'm currently doing some research on the Mable stuff. I will tip my cap to somebody that beats me straight up rather than manipulating the settings of the game.

My bad. Out of a normal cover 3, I go underneath first to turn the outside assignments into hard flats, and then I go over the top to turn them into cloud flats, and then outside. They remain in the cloud flat but play to the sideline way better. 

Haven't seen the fg block trick yet but I don't look forward to seeing that either lmao
