I’m on PS4 and it’s unplayable. The solos are fine (haven’t even had time for H2H in over two years, are they lagging too?). But the entire menu is like using dial-up connection. For me it really started after the last update, it’s like they coded a slowdown in the upload speed for the entire system. I tested the connection with the game not even running and it was at around 60 kbps!! yes that’s a K. I used a LAN and now it’s around 5 or 6 Mbps. Anybody thinking that they may “fix” this after Christmas, hoping to increase sales on PS5?? Or Xbox upgrades?
Tbh at this point there ain’t no reason why y’all even on the old shit… it’s been like over 3 years since the new console came out, you can get a xbox series s on Facebook market place like for 220$ all week long… what is keeping you guys from upgrading consoles?

If EA is going to release the game for both Generations. Than regardless of who can and can't afford a new machine, the game needs to work. We all paid the same amount for the game. If EA was going to have this slow of a game for (current gen) and not have specific features in game such as abilities, then they should have announced it before Launch. therefore it gives us old gen's the choice to buy or not. Either wise this is completely 💯 fraud. Plain and simple EA are crooks and now this game is completely broken. If you were an old gen user you'd understand it's frustrating as hell.
The answer to your question about why I've not upgraded to a new system. For me is lack of gaming content. I have alot of games for my ps4. and the 5 just isn't intriguing enough for me. and it's still 400 bucks and that's a pretty penny. just not worth it when all I play is Madden.

Not all of us have $200-$400 cash just laying around

True but there are ways to get a new console where you don't pay full price right away. A job helps too and you can sell the old console and put it towards the new one. Plenty of ways but EA is definitely not fixing it anytime soon

My xbox is barely worth anything since its already second-hand, I am saving for a series x, about $200 in right now, hoping to get it around Christmas

100%. I bought a Series S but my XBox One team was already built up too much to switch over, and lack of transferability eliminates that potential solution.

Yep. I'm going to switch to new gen this summer before NCAA comes out.. I highly doubt I'll play Madden again once that game returns.
It's probably 2 fold. One is its probably a massive amount of work to fix it and why do it since they already have your money. And may get more if you upgrade.
The other is how long do they keep putting money into fixing issues for a 10 year old system. Buying online games for old gen isn't a good idea.

No it's not gonna get fixed. It's all about the money you know? There's no money to be made in fixing technical issues or gameplay issues. But there is money to be made in selling packs.
Diggs24 said:Similar to that but yes I know what you're saying. The NFL is aware of EAs portfolio and does have a contract ending after this year. They have an agenda and we'll see what happens
The contract is through the 2025 season. This is not their last year

FR. I thought it Was just me
