It would be silly for EA to do away with this program all together.
My guess is that we'll see Team Diamonds in the week between Most Feared Release 3 and Harvest Release 1.
Last year it was Most Feared Release 3, All Madden, and then Harvest Release 1. Since there is no All Madden this year, it would make sense for EA to drop Team Diamonds in between MF and Harvest. So either the 1st or 2nd of November.
I wouldn't be surprised if Team Diamonds were the first 91 OVRs of the year.
That’s my guess too. Hope that’s the case because I’m tired of constantly being at 1700 cards in my binder and I’m running out of sets to hide cards in.
They gotta be 91’s to stay relevant through blitz. I don’t like EA dragging this out and making it a midseason promo. Used to be the cherry on top of so much other content.

As I mentioned in a different thread, TD is my favorite promo of the year. For those of us that *really* enjoy working the auction house to find as much as to flip cards, it's a unique game experience that if it was to go away would seriously impact my enjoyment (and many others). If you take a step back and think about it, one of the challenges of current MUT engagement is establishing a legit goal. Earning the TD Champion is one of the few "mega goals" that exist in MUT - especially with MUT Champs/Weekend League success being less of a thing than it was 2-3 years ago. Let's hope the traditional "find the cards, build the heroes, sell the heroes to build the next hero, and build the champion" concept doesn't go away!

It's hard to say specific ovrs because of how the sets worked in previous maddens. If you're not familiar, team diamonds sets usually require specific ovrs from the team you doing the set for. For example, the patriots team diamond would usually require various patriots players of different ovrs. Sometimes you'll even need the player to be from a specific program. Because of that a lot of seemingly random cards can actually go up in value.
If I were investing, I would focus on players who are the only player at that ovr range for their team. So for example, the patriots only have one 79 ovr player if the pats set ends up requiring exactly a 79 he could go up a lot compared to the current price.
Obviously, there's still some luck to it as the set requirements aren't known until they're revealed. To mitigate this it's best to diversify your investments.

No problem. One thing I forgot is you may want to consider investing in team builders and 85 ovr ultimate kickoff players. All 32 teams got one of each. Based on previous mut years, I think there's a good chance at least one of them will be used for team diamonds this year.
