I am currently running a non theme team but I dont feel like im having fun without doing a theme team. My issue is that Id love to do a packers theme ( I run squads only) and the offense is kind of lacking right now. My question to yall is what is a theme team that if fun to yall that has good balance of players? ( I understand I can look it up, some teams over/underperform on stats that are shown). Thanks for your input!
Ravens looks strong rn but expensive. You could always do a 25/25 packers and have a few key starters
Rams is a good one since Donald / Ramsey are free, I run 25 Ravens/ 25 Rams

I have a buddy whose running ravens its pretty good, I am considering it. Just sucks the packers are blowing right now so less chance of impact players!
I'm a big eagles fan. I run eagles TT every year, and early on it's tough to be competitive with 85 speed cbs, or a bad oline. whatever wholes you may have but this year they have the promo TT which are actually super good. So my suggestion would be to do a hybrid packers MF TT, then after a couple weeks towards the end of harvest switch to harvest/packers then ZC/packers etc...

packers honestly has a ton of holes, so this is mostly MF, but it will get better as the year goes on.

I thought about utilizing the free players, seems like the ravens are the move tho lol. is your rams heavy defense and ravens offense or pretty balanced?

I been trying to bite my tongue and wait until thanksgiving promo but I am losing interest slowly in madden lol. Right now I am rocking best players OVR Â on offense. So this is kinda a business move to make a full team and save coins moving forward. Eagles have been some solid players but its defiantly a bummer when a position group gets no love especially when they have/had some good named players that maddens like to choose.
it's balanced just hole on OL but actually put a legend LT as long snapper and sub him in to help
if you run 50 (25/25) that leaves 3 free spots in your lineup, then you have I think 3 more total for specialists/special teams
Ravens have a lot of good defensive players that played for them in the past - Judon, Clowney, Peters, same with Rams and there's even a decent amount of crossover between players that played for both Ravens/Rams
also don't forget that strategy team item gives you another team chem
Deion Sanders another former Raven, RGIII, that UK Waller was nice, wish I didn't get rid of him, need him back, 49ers fullback the 86 OVR, a lot of good former Raven / Rams - Von Miller MF (Ram)

I'd definitely recommend doing a 25/25 theme team with one of the teams being the Packers. Seahawks have a pretty strong theme team and keep getting new additions to it, so that would keep you invested while you wait for more Packers players to come out. Alternatively, you could just get all the key players for the Packers and get the Packers team chem to 25 and fill the rest with best available players. Then as more Packers players come out, you get rid of the non-Packers players and fill in those spaces.

I do think 25/50 teams are the move this year. As I am trying to pair up packers with another team, those other teams like 49ers, seahawks, chiefs have good strengths but the packers barely supplement them. lol This could be me being to impatient. At least for the packers.
considering a bunch of boosts players can get without theme teams has anyone found a way to maximize all those boosts with potential 3 theme teams? (3rd team would boost like strength rating for like the d line)

Ya I mean the Packers theme team is pretty weak right now. I'd start accumulating Packers players as backups and grab a few of the better guys like Gravedigger that will stick around. Save up and snag Packers players as they are released. It is a lot easier and more cost efficient to target specific guys for your theme team when new programs come out. In the meantime maybe pick one of the other theme teams that you mentioned or just keep rolling with best available players and build your coins so you're prepared whenever a new Packer drops.

Ah I see, internally I am screaming because of this lol but you make sense.

you get +1 SPD once you hit 25 players, I had 3 in the beginning, you're basically trading +1 STR for +1 SPD, not worth it IMO
