I've pretty much finished all of my comp pass objectives to date and have 1891 cp before starting today's grind. I'll be able to pick up another 745 total from this week's objectives and milestones which will get me only to Level 45. That means 90 OVR Kearse is not gonna be obtainable this week. Since we'll be getting 91s soon... Kearse is gonna be obsolete by the time I can even get him.

I’m the same. Close to 1900. And yes, he’ll be great on my TT, but not special for most.
I don't understand why EA chose to make Kearse a 90 OVR knowing that by the time people would start obtaining him there would already be 91 OVRs in the game.
Makes zero sense.
A 90 will still be great even with 91s out. I wouldn't say he'll be obsolete by any means.
I mean, I'm still winning in these mut streets with an 87 ovr team when though people are at 90 ovr.

Like I get that he'll still be good and a one OVR difference isn't that big, but would it have hurt EA to make Kearse a 91 OVR? No.

It is probably for the same reason that they are giving us a free Legend that is only from Season 1, when Season 2 is mostly over.

I mean obsolete in the sense that I like to have the best cards at every position for my squad. Of course the small differences in cards don't matter all that much if you're a decent player with a good scheme. It's just the OCD in me lol.
for the comp pass to be worth grinding that hard to me, the card would need to be the best in the game, like highest OVR... rewards suck, if there's 91s at the time most people get it, it should be a 93/94
actually reward people for grinding, I think I'm 27/28 comp pass and don't care about the rewards in it for rest of season...

Fair. Just didn't want people looking at this and thinking he's completely unusable. He's still a very solid reward. Sure it would be nice for him to be the highest ovr but he's not a trash reward by any means.

any free player EA wants to shadow quickly with new higher ovr drops so people want to spend money to get the new best thing
Are there new milestones this week? Last season, they added some new milestones after the first couple of weeks to help with CP
