Trying to Redesign My Defense Since I Suck

I couldn't stop a nose bleed if I tried with the defense I use right now. Trying to switch to dime and see if I have any positive changes.

I have 900k to work with if anyone has any players that they think I NEED to add to my team. RIght now I have a 35/50 Steelers TT. My secondary is Polamalu, Pola-Mao, JPJ, Ramsey, and Pat Pete. My D-line is Mack, Hargrave, Donald, 88 Micah Parsons.

I know I need one more DB and maybe a new DT. Is Vita with Inside Stuff still the best value move or am I okay with what I have right now. I think I'm choosing Kuechly from the free Legend pack today if that helps. Any advice would be helpful however.

I guess my main question is, who's made the most plays for you guys defensively. Thanks in advance!

There is one thing for certain with building lineups outside of schemes, IMO... Corners, and safeties to an extent, are an absolute premium. I prioritize that over any other position on the lineup. Next would be my user, but that is different for everybody. 

So you can get Kuechley which isn't a bad option, and buy Revis who's price is way down right now compared to what it was. And the free bnd 90 ovr Most Feared can be used for Jaire or whoever else you like. 

Btw... I have Quinnen for my DT and he's pretty dang sporty with inside stuff on.

Thanks for the advice!!! Unfortunately I already went Pouncey with the 90 MF for my Steelers team, but I'll take a look at Revis and Quinnen.

By far Dave Robinson has made the most plays on my Defense .

After that I think Quinnen and Gravedigger on the line make more plays than my edge rushers.

Ed Reed Ball Hawk, Troy, also make a lot of plays. Also Revis. 

With 900K of night be hard to get more than one of these cards right now but that's who seems to work well for me. 

But honestly Defense in general sucks right now. Very hard to stop people.

Dont bother, its not you, no ones d works. EA made the game ridiculously unbalanced, all the user skills and adjustments/playcalling in the world can maaaaaybe buy you one stop. Two at most. Theyll probably quit before then because everyone expects go score everytime so if you stop them on d alot of people just quit. Lol

Defense is as squishy as it's ever been in my otherwise short MUT career (re-started Madden in `22, fully diving into MUT by Xmas `23), which places all DBs at an absolute premium.  I'm decidedly NMS, currently running 30/50 49ers TT.  Steelers squad looking pretty fierce.

That being said, i've just recently begun to try and rework my defensive scheme(s), to favor much more Zone, versus the straight up Man to Man that I had been running.  Although i still tend to mix some of both, often in the same play.  Hybrid is where it's at, IMO.  Lots of Dollar as DB Fire 2 remains top tier, but also some Dime, as four down-linemen seem to generate a bit more organic pressure.  Typically pinch my entire defense (which helps D-line & DBs, but be VERY careful when pressing, we get cooked a ton -- i often back off at least outside corners).  Donald, LT & Ware are my primary pass rushers, but I've got Hargrave (DT2) and recently acquired Clowney, but not sure where (or if) to run him.  Just added Jaire (CB1) late last evening, after grinding for the 14K Treats pack (choose 1 of 3), was a no-brainer as my other options were FB & LE.  For the time being, i'm still running three Pick Artists, but seriously considering grabbing Luke MLB for that sweet, sweet 1AP LurkArtist, having three of these dudes would be absolutely dreamy... but potentially a long ways off (for me).
