laggy gameplay recently on PC

Has anyone in the last couple days experienced really laggy gameplay on PC? It's h2h, solos doesn't matter. I have a decent gaming computer and fiber internet everything was fine up until yesterday.

same, does your gpu work when playing??? i read stuff online when the game was release in august that the PC version doesn't use the GPU much and forces the CPU to overwork

That was my experience initially and it seemed like they had fixed it. However, the past couple days it seems like it went back to how it was before when it was initially released and yes the GPU barely works and CPU is overloaded.

Make sure your drivers are up to date as mentioned above. I found that if I turn off vsync and lock the framerate to 120 everything runs smoothly. GPU usage increases to high levels as it should. Though the game still uses a lot of CPU as well. I have an AMD 6950XT and madden gets close to maxing it out with all graphics settings on ultra and high. Turning off ray tracing and lowering resource intensive settings can help.
