what are the possibilities of a 82 OVR manhandling a 90-95 OVR team or does having your cards upgraded really put you over the top? And I'm needing some help how many players on different positions do you have upgraded with X factors. i noticed your only able to use 7AP a game and what positions is your go to if your only allotted 7AP, if you guys could post your lineups so i can get a better understanding would be very much appreciated.
Depends on skill in terms of OVR. But the higher OVR team will generally have the advantage of course. QB is the most important place to spend your AP on offense. Gift-wrapped is a must currently and I would recommend HRM and gunslinger. Joe Montana is the best budget option for that setup if you go for it, he's under 300k right now last time I looked. Other than that Short -in - elite, slot apprentice, Matchup Nightmare on your WR/TE are good. Post up is great for your C or guard positions if you have extra AP to spend. Juke Box is very good this year and would recommend if you are running an RB that already has good agility and speed. Bo Jackson is a bit dated, but would still be a fine option.
Defense
Lurk artist is the best and cheapest option this year IMO, there are players now that got Redux cards that would be good candidates for this (Dave Robinson being the best). For your DLine, combining Double or Nothing with Defensive Rally on a high PMV DT, OLB or DE is a great combo. Unpredicatable and inside stuff are also good. The best pass coverage ability outside of Lurk artist is Deep In KO, would recommend this for a single high safety if you run cover 3 or for your MLB if you run a Tampa 3 setup. Tampa 3 is when you drop the MLB to a middle 3rd and take the two safeties and put them on outside thirds via the quick adjust menu after plays are selected. Best advice I can give you is find a scheme and then take the time to practice it! Otherwise, you will lose a ton of H2H games because you are too slow with your adjustments. bro! Thank you so much for your insight it says alot .I see alot of posts here that are legitimate questions and they go unanswered for days Thank you again sir Im mainly a pocket passer and a little play action , Where i get frustrated is upgrading theme players some maxed out but i get confused who or how many actually get the boosts in game being that only 7 AP is allowed i believe
For sure man, the best route for a theme team right now if you can is to go 25 Most feared and then 25 of a particular team, chiefs, seahawks, eagles and ravens seem to be the highest OVR right now. There are a few olinemen who give boosts to other olineman, QB and RB. As far as I know its only Charles Cross and Creed Humphrey AKA cards right now. At the end of the day the best thing you can do is get good at the game. I've lost to 85 OVR teams even though I'm running a 90 OVR right now, because they were just better. User skill is still the biggest factor in H2H games.
