Oh boy... ALWAYS score when you have the chance. He was down 31-24 with under 2 minutes to go and FOUR TIMES opted to fall down instead of scoring a touchdown to use the clock. A goal line stand later and he lost 31-24 with no time remaining after failing to score from the 2 yard line. 

Had four chances to tie (or take the lead). Outscored me 17-10 in the second half and forced 3 second half turnovers. Figured out my offense and everything, but when it came down to it... he opted to not score trailing by seven.

I’ve said it all year - if you have the opportunity to score, you better do so.

Depends on the game, in that game where it sounds like some decent defense was played yes, score when you can score. I had a game last night 50-49, I had the ball last, and I knew I could score because I'd been doing it all game. There was no way I was giving him ball back with more than 20 seconds left on the clock. I ran it all the way down and scored on 4th and goal, and went for 2 (again high scoring game no defense, OT comes down to a coin flip, I'd rather go out on my own terms). Kicked the ball back and he had 16 seconds and a time out, luckily ran stock bunch verticals 3x and didn't complete one instead of the U trips he'd been cooking me with.

Also, always keep your 2 best goal line plays in the back pocket for the end of the game!
