I think guys like JonBeast and Henry kinda know how to play the game and you don't see anyone of that caliber running with escape artist.

I mean that ability is totally.nerfed this year.  

Dude,  like other people have written here,. It's not going to be a big deal.  The days of escape artist and fast QBs being effective are over. 

Pursuit angles are fine for stopping the QB.

You rarely see anyone running with their QB (and being successful againsta quality opponent)... The only benefit to a.speedy QB is to throw on the run if there's pocket pressure

game has been ruined with abilities, pay 2 win, dollar being the best run d and goal line d  etc........and cant forget broken lol

I hate these cheese abilities, I know there’s ways to stop it, and y’all can call me trash at the game if ya want, but I just prefer a simpler, realistic football game not with crazy X factors and abilities, looks like it’s not gonna happen this season and we’ll go back to every single player getting a crazy meta stack by the end of the season….smh 🤦‍♂️

100% what Martry said. To the OP, have you looked at the SPD of defensive players this year? CBs are faster than WRs. I would give it a go before you condemn it. I don't think it's going to be that big of an issue.

WR's are Taller though. Speed doesnt matter as much this year IMO. +3" of height is better than top speed IMO. Still think 6' 3-6' 5 WRs are the move this year. Good mix of agility and speed.
