Comp Pass Changes... LOL

Everything is basically centered around winning now.... and the objectives are stupid.... "Win 100 Solo Battles on Veteran or higher".... lmao

Worst part is that they changed the final reward from free Legends to 2x Legends Packs

More grind, less rewards

Not wasting my time at all, if I want Campbell or Washington I'll just buy them

At least people who dislike H2H benefit from these changes

Yuupppp. Wasnt grinding for GP and def not doing it for Washington either now.

The fact that they tried to "sneak" these changes in is really scummy. Why not go through them during the stream in which you PREVIEWED THE COMP PASS? 

The comp players were already mid. Without the two full legends, I'm not actively touching this comp pass. I'll play seasons and at least get some rewards. I was tired of playing any solo battles anyway.

yep they love bending their fanbase over repeatedly, so u cant fix solos for a full week and now ur making the comp pass a sweatfest. like idc if im the best player ever theres no way im getting 20 mut champs wins this week, thats absurd. if i went undefeated knowing ea id lag out but winning them all isnt possible with the amount of times my oppenent gets bailed out

edit: 2 of my mut champs and solo battles objectives are to win games god i despise ea

this. i’ve gotten all 4 top 1000 so far, sold them all and barely used any of the BNDs. only used pickens (who wasn’t even top 5 at the time) and Fields who was low key awful. 

not wasting my time this CP. i’ll grind for the BND in my own time or buy them if i really want them

I initially thought it was a joke, and not a funny one… but it’s not, my man… I might be grinding for some XP season 3 points, maybe for that Jack Campbell card, which seems a good user… and call it a day!

EA really killing Madden 24 in November

Honestly, I thought the newest iteration of Competitive Pass points scoring was the best of the year. Solo grinders can collect all of the Season Pass XP and both CP player items. Head-to-head players that struggle to win but can put up yards and a few points can also compete. At 36 points per day, the daily CP XP award gets you 2,016 points into the pass. The best competitive players will progress quickly and earn the trophy items. Really, what's not to like about this? Who gets left out?

im not playing 100 solo battles. im also not winning 20 mut champ games, i get bored of them after like 5, i always end up playing squads

If it sounds like you got left out, I see the following:

2,016 from dailies
560 from squads (assuming you get the required wins)
325 from milestones

At 2,901 points, you wouldn't have to grind out 100 solo battles; probably just a small fraction of that would be sufficient to max out the CP. Further, in the past, the milestones have refreshed halfway through the pass, so there might be another 325 points there. If you could get 200+ yards on first downs and win one solo, that's worth 25 points a week. Join a Champs game now and then, and if the experience is rough, at least you get points for returning kickoffs.

Of course, I have yet to see anyone offer a better solution for CP scoring. You have the grinding of Solos, the win-at-all-costs mentality of Champs and Seasons, and the IQ-averaging of Squads. For the reason that so many of the points come from just showing up, I don't see an argument against MUT in this, other than perhaps that you have to play the game to progress. But that's like every game ever made, right?

ima be honest, the past 2 competitive passes i played 2 solobattles each pass, maxed out the stats, for mut champs i wouldnt worry about wins and me and a friend would play 2 games with each other, 1 game 1 person maxes out there stats, next the other did, boom mutchamps minus all of 35 xp was done. that left just h2h and guess what, we got that just by playing squads. but now i gotta 10,15,20 solo battles games my other 2 are 1000 passing yard and 20 passing tds. so 3 out of my 5 solo battles are just winning games, same for my mut champ 3 are win games, 2 are random stats. ill probably do just enough to get jack campbell. i mean we dont even get free legend players now, we get packs, which we all know will be bare minimum. Comp pass is now booty cheeks

i dont ask how you be able to met  a friend in mut champs...but normal opponents are still willing to farm the stats they need. thats easy 75 cp + 60 cp for 2 wins. 135 really easy cp in mut champs every week, if it stays like that.
