I run the ability on Moss and I swear it activates anytime he touches the ball. On kick returns I notice he consistently gets a speed boost and not a clunky starting run. As well as catches, it’s like he has deep elite, well maybe not that broken, but he‘s been making insane catches more consistently than w/o and limited interceptions in bad throw situations. Maybe it ‘s just a placebo, I don’t know, but I’m gonna keep running it.
I think it's likely a placebo because nothing about the reach for it ability seems like it should be helping that much. Still, I'll have to experiment with it to see

Ye try it on a receiver and lmk how that goes
I've been running reach for it on my rbs and wrs for years and it is always really good for me

Super curious how things work out regarding this suggestion. Heck, i've been convinced that Matchup Nightmare ability activates on 99.9% of passing downs (not only when lined up versus LBs), although I finally removed MN on Kittle as i needed all 7 AP for Kurt Warner (GS, SFL + GW).
EA gonna EA, so very little would surprise me surrounding how these abilities are actually implemented. Looking forward to any feedback, may have to tinker myself.

Oh ye matchup nightmare is a must have for TE even if they’re aren’t directly guarded by the LB like in man it feels like it activates anytime the LB is on the field

It does activate every play, but not the same way every play. The route running and 1v1 catching boosts only activate when lined up as a TE and are being covered by an LB, Sub-LB, or DL in man coverage, but a third lesser known boost is a catching boost in all catch situations at any position on the field. The third boost is why Matchup Nightmare lights up every time and it does give a solid boost to spec catching and contested catches.

I tested it out for several games and it’s absolutely worth 2 AP especially if you struggle vs man coverage defenses and aren’t capped out on AP from your QB.
I see no use in it IF the player you put it on has the "fights for extra yards" trait. They're not going to fight extra harder for yards if they already have that trait. But I have noticed on a ball carrier with a low carry rate fighting for extra yards lead to strip fumbles so buyer beware.

Interesting, i came to the conclusion it’s just moss.
