Already have Aikman and hes great but Marino slightly newer and a fav of mine (most years is either him or Brady for obvious reasons depending on availability for me) and they seem very similar. I honestly cant tell if its even worth the switch/even is a slight upgrade over Aikman. Any opinions or advice?
Bumped to see if people were mistaken and/or EA changed it when people complained. Â
Looking at Marinos abilities on the resources here on this site, it appears as if he (now at least) gets the same abilities as Aikman (HRM and SFL) and like Aikman can put HRM on as an ability and have SFL as his xfactor (my current set up for Aikman)
1. Is this true?
2. If so, ai repeat the original question lol which one would you rather roll with?Â
Thanks guys
Theyre almost exactly the same. Youre losing out the 350k QS for 90/90/90 vs 90/90/88

Good point. Maybe I was being shortsighted thinking i could make up about 100k profit to use elsewhere, especially since im just short of a player I want to add for the finishing touches to my team for the foreseeable future.Â
That combined with him being w favorite of mine (Marino). Youre probably right though. Is eithers release better than the other or not really that even?

I did run with Aikman and use GS/SFL + HRM xfactor (switched for Vick with TT)
Just depends how much coins you want in the future witht he 50k rental or use the full threshold Marino
I've used both, at this point I like Marino. Better release and you can stack HRM and SFL because of his x factor. He also is slightly faster which can be important if you need a clutch scramble once in awhile.

I agree with this. With Marino, you can get the a better stack than Aikman - you can have GS, SFL full time and HRM 40-45% of the time with his AKA X factor. And Aikman has that annoying hitch in his throw motion sometimes LOL

Yeah but with Aikman you have to complete consecutive passes > 5 yards in H2h that's not really easy to do, if you want to get HRM. With Marino it starts on and goes on again automatically after like 6 plays or something
Marino easily. Aikman is great still, but Marino is an upgrade in every way that matters.

Thats true. I just rarely have a hard time activating it ;)

Aikmans HRM is always on if you pick it as an ability. Or are you guys referring only to comparing their x factors?
if you don't care as much about SFL, then Aikman with HRM & GS, if you do then Marino w SFL, GS and HRM x factor
