and it's worse to give a lot of time to something that you won't get anything back from than to give money to it... you can never get the time back... think about the time more than the money... never waste too much of it on pointless things (video games can be a vice and that for many) - all about balance...

If EA cared about us I wouldn’t mind spending real $$ for packs and bundles. I have been playing this game for awhile now EA does not care. The same glitch plays and issues rollover year after year. Also, they nerf everything back then we use to get auctionble champion players after completing solo challenges, WL rewarded hundreds of thousands of coins and packs winning 10, 15, 20 and etc. Same with solo battles you earned thousands of coins and packs. Prior maddens you do a champion set you get the players back that you put in the set. Also they took away the trade block. There are so much more that I could write but it’s going to be a novel. The company sucks and they are milking this game. it use to be good promos were creative and now it’s plain vanilla and they delayed the harvest part 2 after thanksgiving smh. Again if they showed effort and improvement I wouldn’t mind opening my wallet.
Like you I love football and this is the only football simulation out there. I have no choice unless EA loses the nfl license deal and we get other companies developing NFL sim football.

I ask the same question about why people play the game if not trying to be competitive... it's dumber to play this game and not try to be competitive than to spend money on it IMO but to each their own...
i play this game because I enjoy footbal. I have a real job and family. I don’t have time to lab or learn all the glitch plays to be the next Henry. that’s not my goal In life. I play this game because it’s a hobby and an outlet from my stressful job and a way to enjoy football. I like the team building and market coin making investment. I’m been playing this game for awhile my record 95-48 with 2 superbowls wins and 2 supber losses. im not a bum I can be competitive to a certain extent however I’m not going to be these players who use cheese and meta plays to win. I played a guy in Mut champs who literally did rpo every third play. His defense was dollar which I shredded for 4 rushing touchdowns.
Also this is My first year playing madden on current gen and im shocked how easy it is compared to old gen. Old gen madden you could lurk and cover 2-3 routes. Which makes it harder if your a passer because your opponent could shutdown half the field.

Haven’t given them a personal penny this year. Didn’t even buy the game.
I’ve been playing MUT for a long time and used to give them money. haven’t the past 2 seasons and my teams are way better than when I did spend money.

i am nms mostly. SOMETIMES ill get a weekly elite fantasy, but thats 5 bucks so thats usally all i do, i think the most ive spent is like 20 bucks one time. ea's goofy and packs are not worth it usally. ig some of the bundles are good, but whos paying 100+ dollars for that? ( ik, ik u all are, but not me.)
