I have been waiting for LT to drop and some good promos but we got BB (which I actually wasn't terribly upset with but still, it's just a promo completely built around OOP).....then Madden Machines which may be the worst promo I have seen in Madden since I started playing it in the summer of 1988 when I was in college. Not only was the idea bad, the cards stank also....plus the last few drops, the LTDs, the ULs, (there was one good LTD UL but for the most part, awful- Bernard Pollard??? C'mon).....And when we thought EA was gonna drop something big to compete with The Show's release, they give us Pouncey, Haley, and Kearney? When it could have been players like LT, Rod Woodson, a Bo upgrade, etc.
So I ended up spending 90% of my time this weekend on The Show. And any $$$ I would have spent on bundles, I spent on Stubs on Sony instead of EA.
It's a shame. usually, I am very active playing Madden a good month or 2 after The Show drops. Now I don't plan on playing much at all until Easter promo drops and hope thye really nail it.
