nah they hate me i dont spend any money on packs EA has hated me since the PS2 days i was on their blacklist at one point

I feel that it should be exclusive to the best cards in the game and not have them like they did last year

That exists. LTD Ray Lewis gets 0 AP film study but he needs a certain amount of tackles before this becomes enabled.

As for discounting KOs…

they’re needed cause of velocity abilities cause DBs don’t move otherwise. Then velocity abilities become needed cause of KOs. It’s a slippery slope they’re already heading down.

What’s interesting about your comment about DB’s not moving is most abilities just give you the animation at the end. EA is incapable of coding the game where defenders react when routes come near their zone.

Instead we are left with brain dead robots who sit like a statue and only move if you have the right ability and also get the rng animation. Yep, this is simulation football

Oh gosh, i sincerely hope you are not in the minority here.  I signed up for fatball simulation and this has been anything but... as much as i've truly enjoyed having an OP velocity ability on my QB (Set Feet Lead), i was honestly hoping we'd make it til Superbowl time (JAN/FEB, at least) before seeing those enter the game.

I tend to agree with folks who are suggesting that ALL defensive backs should have Pick Artist and all linebackers should come equipped with LurkArtist -- yet EA has zero idea how to fix or improve gameplay, so these abilities are not necessary.  We're beyond the point of hope, what with `24 being EA's "make or break" year.  Obviously that has not been the case.  If EA was capable of fixing some of these issues, they would.  They try to resolve the overall issues with pass catching (on both offense and defense), inevitably introduce unintended side-effects from their buggy ass shit, before rolling those changes back, thereby re-introducing more of the same bugs that existed before.

What an absolute mess.  Instead of fixing gameplay, so that abilities can be removed, we're going in the opposite direction.  Reducing the overall AP available was a decent start, but now they're just combining abilities, so the few AP we do get to spend should have a more profound impact on the game.  I'm eager to see all these newly combined abilities (for example, Vick's QB Playmaker is essentially Playmaker + HRM) actually work in real gameplay scenarios, but again -- strongly disliek any and all abilities.

We're already nearing max 99 stats in some instances.  Mahomes Harvest has base 94 Throwing Power.  Soon that will be creeping towards 99 with modifiers... AND has velocity ability, making him nearly an end-game QB.  Are we going to get 100+ stats this year, or how are they going to address these issues?  There's simply not sufficient room to continue growing beyond the "99" threshold.
