They gave Clay Matthews 78 Block Shed lmao. I'm sure there's shitty, nonsensical ratiings all over the Team Diamonds. Need to fix more than just speed.

Why doesn't EA make any variance in players?
I get they keep overall low but why not give a guy 98 speed and a 78 route running for example like just something to diversify shit. It's like every 88 is the same plus or minus one attribute.

In fairness to them, the community used to whine savagely about physical stats that replicated reality. Whenever Michael Thomas or Adam Theilen would get slow cards with good attributes Saints and Vikings themers would moan and the rest of the community would say “trash” and pass on the card.
Keeping everything in a tight band makes it more likely that someone will engage with it. Then they sell packs off of discounted abilities…

They’re still trying to sell us the next QB in zero chill. They aren’t trying to give that ability away.

I’m not convinced it is specific cards. I think it will be any player in a specific range (e.g. 86-87) from any team in the division.
