if you can't see that I enjoy the back & forth discussion you might be a little slow on the draw my friend.

and i didn't mean I had a low budget coin amount I meant the players I was playing with are budget currently, TODAY.
I do the same thing. I'm at 3 million and i don't buy top end cards either. Only thing i spent coins on is Mahomes, 92 Faulk and 92 Bailey. Also got Desean Jackson but everyone else is free

Oh I can see that you enjoy trolling over an extended period of time alright. Plenty have seen this from you. Nothing new.

and your input on the subject is to come in and call people trolls? and that makes you more productive somehow?

If you want input regarding the OP, I agree with what the video said. Not much else to say.
You really can't talk about being "productive" after typing up an entirely useless essay, come on now lol.
blamppp said:you can laugh, but it's not at all contradictory, I buy packs and test out players all the time, but I rarely play w/ a top tier team. I'm currently playing with a NMS team and will probably build zero chill theme team, then break that all down and do something else after that. I never said I didn't buy packs, but both statements are very true.
So if i understand this correctly, you have a Money Spent Team, breeze through all the Comp. and Season Pass objectives partly because you have a High-End Money Spent Team, collect all those Free Cards from the passes, then sell all the Money Spent cards, stack coins, and then play with the free cards? Rinse - Repeat???
I wouldn't necessarily call that a NMS Team... (Just my opinion though)... Most NMS Teams aren't in a position to do that, or just simply don't want to do that... I am NMS player, but in a position to where i could buy packs and stuff if i wanted to... I just feel that if i spent $70 on a game, i should be able to enjoy that game without pouring money into it month after month.... So, personally, if this trend from EA continues, this will most likely be my last year on MUT.... At least until they change their business practices.... Sadly!!!

so break it down then, what should the changes be? I personally like that the rewards come from comp pass, field pass etc, I hated challenges and the way they used to do the rewards like that. how do you change and keep value?
how do you get value in cards without a pay wall? ridiculously long gauntlet challenges etc? what would the answer be?
for example they gave away an 92 adrian peterson a long time ago in I think it was gauntlet? and how long would it be before you needed or used another HB? and just giving you a great player that everybody uses the whole time makes it stale.
everybody wants the best player for the team they want it on etc? how does anyone accomodate that properly? give them the ideas to work with, I think the best way to create change is talk about it, reference solid ideas that work & make sense instead of just ranting and saying you don't like anything and the company is greedy. regular people work at that company, and regular people play competitive etc, we all play we are all apart of the issue/solution.
IMHO pack odds are the worst ever this year and nearly every offer in the store has required cash. I have spent a little bit, but the only reasonable yield was the $25 pack that gave you a chance at a cover athlete. On my XBox One I pulled the least valuable, 92 Marshall Faulk. On my current gen XBox S Series I pulled a more valuable 92 Richard Sherman.
But again that was REAL $ spent. Packs I've opened with coins or training have been horrid this year.
Haven’t watched but if it’s Fox then it’s mostly true.
I’ve barely played this year and think I’m about done, it’s just not nearly as fun as it used to be and there’s rarely anything to upgrade to It’s all just avatar changes with the squish.

your misunderstanding what i'm saying, i'm not saying I didn't spend money or have a NMS team, i'm saying the team I'm currently playing with is what a NMS team looks like. If I had a NMS team it would be it.
I don't play h2h etc with a high end team. i'm playing w/ the team I currently posted and have played with a cheap team all season pretty much other than testing out theme teams and players.
you spent $70 on a game, and you can enjoy the game without pouring money into it, you just "CHOOSE" or "NOT" if you want to spend money, you 100% don't have to.
games originally started w/ REGS..... so of course when it advances the money situation gets different, and just keep that in mind you could always play regs, MUT is an optional mode, and spending money in that mode is also optional, I compete everyday w/ free cards.

Long gauntlet was fun since you got packs, coins and xp. plus the gauntlet players were used for the master later in the year. I remember one year the Journey gave us a golden ticket. Rewarding people for playing the game is the key

so to clarify, the biggest issue most people are having is they want challenges etc, I think the program is that's probably tough to keep up w/ for a company that has a difficult time keeping up w/ content in general and keeping things on time, they probably cut it back.
we do get rewards, just not in the format you want, and that's a very valid point for you, but not personally for me, I actually like the comp pass & field pass format alot better because I hate challenges, but it makes sense, sounds like a battle of challenge players vs h2h players kinda.
First and foremost lets cut through the BS here, the issue is with LTDs and LTDs alone....Everything else pack wise is perfectly fine.
I think the problem lies within the fact that we've been conditioned to think we need to get, or are entitled to every single new LTD card that comes out.
In the past the LTDs were somewhat reasonably priced AND accessible, where most could afford to buy them or even pull them... and this year they switched it up on us. Thats not the case anymore and its making people outraged.
I somewhat agree with Blampp in the fact that we do need to take a step back, but more in the sense that you dont need to have that shiny new LTD every single promo. You can still engage with the content and pull high end cards, but the ones that give a significant advantage SHOULD BE few and far between.
Also the community as a whole needs to understand something, these comp players and streamers that are complaining dont give a #$@% about you. They want the best cards that give them an advantage so they can compete in the tournaments, or create content and while I dont disagree with them...there are two fundamentally different arguments here between us and them.
Comp should be played on a different game mode altogether. This way the more casual fanbase isnt affected by major gameplay or mode decisions. Im not saying regs is it but MUT is too RNG to even build a team and if EA wants MUT to be the comp game mode then all comp players should have access to the entire player database (for tournament play only) so the playing field is even. Right now there are advantages that are purely financial which shouldnt determine a skill based tournament.
In conclusion, we need to take a step back and realize this year it looks like EA doesnt want ALL LTDs to be on EVERY SINGLE MUT TEAM. Theres nothing wrong with this at all and I am all for it, I just wish there was COMMUNICATION saying as such. "Hey guys we know in the past LTDs were more abundant and easily attainable, but this year we are taking a different direction and they are going to be much more scarce."
Sorry for the book

I'm mostly a h2h player so i play h2h more. BUT, i do like having solos and getting a free player at the end of it like we used to get. The promos now are just on the schedule, no creativity or anything. We are going around in a circle, you think MUT is amazing and we don't, leave it at that. Enjoy the garbage zero chill promo
