100% agree there needs to be more creativity in regards to solos and content.

Every single promo is recycled and the exact same format....zero thought or thinking outside of the box.

The MUT team needs to be cleaned up from the top down.

Stop complaining & crying because you can't compete with a streamer who plays all day and gets paid to do it and outspends you, then gets paid to rile you up so you can watch a video they made that they don't even care about.

I know I'm back tracking here but I wanted to comment on this one specifically. 

I think some of this that you said is very well true. Some of the free cards we have gotten have been very good and even great to use this year. You can play the game with the free cards you have gotten, I don't disagree with that at all. But that's not how the game mode is played by a lot of people due to the incentive to have a TT and get those boosts. I am flat out not grinding the competitive pass because I will never be in the top 1000 to get an auctionable reward and as a Chiefs TT player, Jack Campbell and Darnell Washington do nothing for me. I am using Ted Hendricks at the moment but outside of him and Travis Kelce, those are the only FP cards I can justify using and make it work within the constraints of a TT and get the boosts that EA incentivizes. 

As for pack odds, I don't what packs you have been pulling, but overall they are awful. If you do any reroll, you may get back 30-40% of the value that you put into it. For example, this year's harvest roll gave back around 40% ROI, last year's gave back around 80%. I will agree that the special offers have decent odds and they have been the best packs we have seen this year, but coin and training packs just aren't worth the time, and the fact that you have to spend money to get a decent pack odds is sad. Just look at yesterday's "promo." A 3% chance, on a limit of 5 packs you can buy with coins, for a 92+ (so not even a 93 Mixup card) is awful. They give you 88s that sells for 40k, when the pack costs 105k (so back to that ~40% ROI), and oh by the way, those cards aren't used in a set for the "champions". That's really where my issue is.

you'd rather do solo's to get free cards? we get the same free players they are just comp pass, field pass, house rules etc, instead of solo's. 

not sure why anyone would just want to sit around and do solo's for the same content, but if that's your debate cool, I can definately see your arguement about it, I just don't have the same opinion, I hate solo's, i'd much rather have the rewards tied to h2h.

they gave us 15 field pass players, and 6 comp pass players, that's basically a whole team right there. plus rewards all through both passes, rewards are available if your playing.

if you put the same amount of time into h2h and house rules, you'd get literally the same amount or more of rewards.

add in the program cards from most feared, harvest etc and you easily have a full competitive team. U got a 90 from most feared, and 91 from harvest, and then you could get a 90/89 from house rules etc, darren waller sold for coins back when he came out. that's a great value/team

just read back what you typed to yourself and listen to what you said, your complaint is that EA doesn't specifically cater to you to create a chiefs TT, how would they do that for everybody?

all of these things are a choice? I mean you chose to have a chiefs theme team, if you want better than the free option you probably are going to have to grind like crazy or pay some money, that's just what the mode is, if not play chiefs in REGS.

what packs have I been pulling? how about the legend adrian peterson bundle, $100? pretty much guaranteed a million + coins...... unstoppable bundle, pulled josh allen worth a ton at the time, just pulled deion out the pack that was like $50,  and then I had some bad packs as well, but most of the $20-$50 offers in store have been really solid, I mean even the packs they just did with the 88's, the 88's you pulled were worth 40k a peice, that's 320k if you sold them all and it gave you a chance at a high overall million coin card as well that alot of people pulled. 

I remember days of many people pulling $100 bundles and getting almost no return on investment, now they all pretty much have a high elite champion type topper w/ them etc when they drop if you buy you get a very solid ROI on that bundle. I'm not sure how that's so bad?

Aside from the EA glazing and money spent trope you already got called out on, saying “pick odds are better than ever this year” is absolutely a wild take. They are, by far, the worst ever. The ROI for packs and rerolls is hovering between 20-30%, and this statistically and demonstrably is the lowest it’s ever been.

how if you get a champion topper on almost every bundle? when was that ever in mut that way? and getting 20 and 50 dollar pack options where you can pull top cards? when were pack odds better than that?

If you are a money spender in this game, then sure packs can be good for you. There have been some good toppers, but don't you think we are pushing the edge of good toppers again too?

Look at the first $100 Harvest bundle. What was the topper there? 2 85+ and 3 89+, and the odds of a 92 OVR was 5% from the 89+. Those aren't guaranteed champions, and while you might be able to build a champion with minimum pulls, you aren't getting the same benefit of the champion coming straight out of the topper, because now you lose the value of the extra cards you have pulled to build a champion.  And let's talk about yesterday's packs. Each pack with money costs 1,250 points, or $12.50 approximately. If you bought the 5 available packs plus the special offer, that's 7,500 points, so let's just say $65 with their bonus point discounts. Is 320k before taxes worth $65 to you?  That's under 5,000 coins per dollar spent. And, personally, with the Cover Athletes and Mixup Monday cards, I HATE the fact there is no other way to get the "champions" other than pulling packs. Champions before the past 2 weeks have always meant sets. Give me a set for these cards and a lot of the hatred that has come out in the last 24 hours isn't there, but with no other way to obtain these cards besides getting extremely lucky in a 105k coin or 1,250 point pack is ridiculous. We've seen set cards have value, this promo didn't need to be pack only to keep them having value. 

With the TT thing, that's incentivized. EA boosts cards attributes if you run a TT. It is a choice, I will agree with you, but it's a choice that EA benefits you for doing over playing with free cards that have all different team chems. They are even incentivizing running promo teams with specific promo chems. That's what they are pushing people to do who can't afford every top end card in the game if they want any chance to compete.

you have seen what happens to cards when you make a set for them, the value just auto declines, there has to be something that creates high value cards in the game.

are certain bundles not good? yeah? don't buy those ones. pick & choose the ones you think are the best value to maximize coins if that's what you choose to do, but the bundles w/ value have definately been there.

so ea is pushing you to do a TT? and pushing you to buy packs? easy say no.

This is my 11th year of MUT. You make set cards hold value, and then the champion holds value. This has been a structure before and it has been very successful. All cards eventually decline in price. I mean 92 Faulk went from 800k to 400k in like a couple days. It's not the set themselves that decline the price of the card, it's the demand for the card. And, the other nice thing about sets, is it increases the prices of lower tier cards. Look at team diamonds and the coins people were able to make from cards in their binders. Taking good/great cards and not having a set for them to increase value of lower tier cards is not good for this game. I will stand on that. 

And if you think EA isn't pushing packs on us, then you are just missing the slap in the face you have received. Again, 2nd "promo" in a row where packs is the only way to get the cards. If no one pulled packs, those cards wouldn't be available. No one would have a cover athlete or a mixup Monday card. You can disagree if you want, but that's the facts because there is no other way to earn those cards.

but your acting like we don't have champion sets, some things are and some things aren't, it's like your debate is about certain promo's that don't have a champion set, but many and pretty much all the big promo's have had them, things like cover athletes are basically just bonus content to add high value cards into the game, some of this stuff didn't even exist in the past, so it's added content w/ high value cards.

My fear is this is just a step. You are right, these are not "major" promos. But if this works on a smaller promo, why wouldn't it work on a bigger promo? Why eat 1 slice of pie when you can have the whole pie, ya know? That's where my problem is. What if zero chill comes out Thursday and there are no sets, and the only way to get any of the champions was by pulling packs? This community would be even more outraged than it is right now. 

If you want high value cards, great. Make them LTD, redux them later, and everyone can eventually get them if they want them at a price point that they feel is right for them. That's the point of LTDs. Don't give me what EA is calling a champion and then tell me the only way you can earn them is through packs. That's just an LTD they don't have to redux.

I don't think you can operate/debate too heavily off what might happen? I mean yeah? then it would be alot of reason to complain, I mean I see the point? it just hasn't happened as of yet, I think if they push it too far the money stops so they can't really do that but? not sure.

My point is if they just wanted the cards to have value, make them all LTD. If you make all 3 cards from yesterday LTDs, then we aren't having this discussion right now. EA chose to call them champions which made the community believe there should be sets for them since that is what champions have always done. You bring down the value of the LTD with the redux. That's where my point was at with that. Blitz cards (at least in year's past) will also get reduxed.

I think you have to look at it from a total perspective instead of so short sighted though

EA was asked by gamers & streamers to add content, they added content in a different format and now people want to crucify them but it's exactly what they asked for? they could have just left it out completely and been ok, why would they keep adding stuff and putting in effort when everybody just goes crazy on them and demands they do things a certain way everytime something drops.

if they gave the wrong info that's one thing, but just those cards I bought the packs and would have liked to pull a top guy, but I didn't I got the 88's and it was a strike out, but I was okay with it, I didn't feel particularly slighted by it.  

most people that complain really just want everything to go the way they want it to go? It's not always going to be that way, and that promo could have VERY EASILY been skipped by players and EA? I just don't view it as being that serious, I think alot of the streamers & youtube guys are causing false outrage about sh*t that really don't matter w/ these programs, packs, odds, EA etc. and they have to do that so people will watch them and engauge, just like EA has to do packs & gameplay a certain way for people to stay involved.

I just don't see gilmore, allen, or pacheco making a big difference on anyone's team at all, most of the million plus coin players are not even that good, and definately in most cases not better than a player that a little lower than they are.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find more game footage of pacheco making plays that paul krause, sean taylor or ronnie lott tbh. I think it's all smoke & mirrors to get people riled up, the cards don't even do anything in the game.

just looking back at your post you mentioned value w/ redux etc, not sure on that because those 3 cards really aren't holding value like that anyway? 800k on 2 and pacheco is hanging in there at 1.4, I just don't see them as holding crazy value or being unattainable.
