Sounds like your team is extremely outdated. I run a 50/50 WAS tt and damn near every starter on my defense and offense is hitting close to a 90 ovr. Players like Sean T, Champ Bailey, DRC, and DJax are sitting at 94 and 93 ovr.

and the thing about it is, most people don't try it, they either don't have the money/coin to get the better card and see it doesn't do anything better.

I have gronk & john mackey at TE now, and while they are cool, they aren't really groundbreaking, pitts or other te's would be almost identical, same w/ players at every other position, I've used the top speed guys they are far from groundbreaking or putting anybody in a box.

Just because we can afford to dump a couple/few hundred dollars into our MUT squads each and every month doesn't mean it's a good or noble idea.  I get it, everyone wants an advantage, but actual competitive gameplay requires a consistent, even (meaning: fair) playing field.  Madden in its current iteration has neither consistent, nor fair gameplay.  Buggy ass shit, combined with pure greed is bad, it's killing the damn game and most of the community (including whales and some content creators) are fed up with the blatant, low-effort, recycled pure cash grab "content" or whatever we're terming stuff liek Mixup Mondays and Cover Athletes.  One might not be so terrible, but these bad decisions are adding up.  Not sure why the concept of wanting fair gameplay is so difficult to understand.  Hell, even if they brought back the MUT Draft game type, that'd be a decent start so anyone could dive right into the action.

Lemme know what your schedule is looking liek, I'll start training for our big adventure.  I played a bunch of House Rules over Thanksgiving weekend, but i'm definitely out of practice.  Regardless, will be a good learning opportunity for me.

You are obviously entitled to your own opinion... sure, everyone's time has value, but actual skill should be rewarded, not deep pockets.  Sadly, that cannot happen, cuz EA hasn't the foggiest idea how to ensure even basic, working gameplay, let alone at a competitive level.  OOF, man.  I respect folks who have the balls to gamble on this shit.  Imagine losing a ~thousand (or even a hundred) dollars because you decide to hike the ball and somehow it bounces WAY up into the air and out of the back of the endzone, resulting in a Safety.  I wish i were kidding, but that happened to me last evening.  Thankfully it was an offline, Solo Battle, but gimme a break.  EVERYTHING in the game is ability dependent.  Stats barely even matter.

Then again, the folks that simply throw money at the game, hoping to gain an advantage are quite often THE most satisfying victories in online H2H play.  A quick scan through an opponent's ability stack is often sufficient to determine how much actual MUT knowledge a person has.  It's truly impressive how many folks have more money than brains... sadly, i'm deficient in both categories.  YMMV.

You might think his take is horrendous but it's sadly just the way things are nowadays and I highly doubt it will ever change. They won't revert back to how things used to be or even tone it down because all of this has been so incredibly lucrative for them. 

Anyway I played against some guy who had the 93 Sherman and Gronk cards on day 1 and just throttled him lol. Bro quit halfway through the second quarter. Skill is still > money.

most likely running meta stuff, and if so i'd say that's mainly why your winning more'so than team.

let me guess? 6-1 and verts? db fire 2? something of that nature.

It's pretty easy to rack up coins this year. If for some reason you can't get wins to get coins follow a market guy and do it that way. Maybe people are bummed they can't afford certain top tier cards but there are plenty of cards similar to these ones that cost way less. Imo it's easier to beat a money spent player because they usually compensate with their lack of talent by having better cards. People still rocking justin fields actually scare me the most because I know they've put hours in on a cheesy scheme and are still comfortable and winning with a free qb.

im pretty sure I played you the other day, you having the lower players in certain spots is actually a plus in my opinion, a guy w/ full god squad probably stands no chance w/ the sliders.

Nice try. Mainly Nickel Cover 3 sky (I think I've called it a few thousand times lol) . 6-1 if my opponent is running the ball a lot especially to the outside. 

My offense is a little cheesy. I'm using bunch offset but I don't spam it super hard and I don't use mesh concepts all game. I use RPOs if my opponent won't stop running zones and I run inside zones if my opponent refuses to get out of dollar.

deion, bland, ray lewis, flacco, and whoever else have not beat me or made crazy plays in any games i've played and I play all the time. like ZERO..... It's never limited cards that are making the plays if you play on a regular basis you'll see it's lower tier guys that alway make the plays.

the things like glitches, make rights, auction house bans, late content etc, I agree with all of those things as a negative, but NMS not competing etc nah I don't see it.
