Once upon a time, in a game called football, if all of the defensive linemen pinched inside, you could call a run outside and have a good shot at a gain. But in this game called Madden 24, when I call the outside run, any one of the defensive linemen almost instantly shed their blocks (typically The Gravedigger and Terminator) and hustle from the backside while the linebackers speed to cover the outside. Quite often, as in 30% of the time, the ball carrier is tackled in the backfield before he reaches the offensive tackle.

Again, in real football, the numbers advantage for the outside run would go to the offense except under extraordinary circumstances. What do I have to do to counter insta-sheds?
