Jalen Hurts?

Hey guys, I currently play with Patrick Mahomes and has been so good so far, his release is fast and with SFL throws good passes, just misses sometimes on the run. I want to know your opinion, should I buy Jalen Hurts or should i stay with Mahomes based on your experience?

Hurts is better, mainly because he has gift wrapped for 0ap.

Hurts and use that free 0 AP gift wrapped with GS and SFL all for a total of 6 AP. I used my last 1 AP on slot apprentice for Tyreek hill. It’s been lethal

I have not played with Mahomes, but using Hurts now. 

Gift-wrapped and Gunslinger only for me right now, BUT...release seems slow. Weird. Or both? 

He makes more deep passes than Field Comp Limited (with THP boost card) but Fields seemed faster. 

Maybe he's better with SFL, etc.

Without a doubt, Jalen Hurts is (as of the time of this comment on Tuesday December 12th) possibly THE best QB in the entire game.  That 0AP Gift Wrapped is clutch.  It allows us to run either 1AP Slot Apprentice (on Tyreek), or perhaps a 1AP Jukebox or something else on your HB.

The other decent option i've toyed with has been the Joe Flacco AKA, as he can get 0AP Gunslinger X-factor ability, thereby freeing up 2AP for use elsewhere.  Plus he gets Slinger 1, which (despite being slightly nerfed this year) remains excellent, especially in short-mid passing game.  The Gen2 on Hurts isn't terrible, but it's nothing special.  I honestly wasn't expecting him to be as good as he is.  That new Derrick Henry QB is HORRENDOUS, from what i hear.  Gen 1 release may be the worst in the entire game.

Doubt you'll regret making the leap to Jalen.

I have Mahomes in my binder, but have yet to use him.  Mostly purchased for Training value, but haven't yet burned the card.  The only other legit option right now is the Legends Otto Graham, who also gets a 1AP discount (on Gunslinger).

you NEED Set Feet Lead, imo.  It's THE best ability in the entire game.  Literally game-changing improvements to passing attack.  I don't know how anyone plays without velocity ability on QBs, they seem broken and tend to just float ducks out there.  Enrages me that we need abilities for our professional athletes to make basic football moves, but uggh.  EA gonna EA.
