EA Has Officially Pushed Me Away

About a year ago from today, I bought Madden 23 and started playing MUT.  I enjoyed everything about playing with my childhood heroes.  Wearing my favorite team's uniform, and seeing the numbers and names on the back of the same jerseys I cheered for when I was kid, was a real joyful experience for me.  Unfortunately, its come to a close.  Coldly and unapologetically.

I was banned from the auction house due to coin distribution.  I never did glitches, never made multiple accounts, never gave coins away, never bought coins, never sold coins.  Im a solo gamer who again, escaped my reality to play with my childhood heroes.  It really hurts to be quite honest.  I feel cheated.  I feel robbed of my money.  And there's no way to get a clear answer.  Im left with interacting through a help and forum page on EA's website.

The only conclusion I can draw, is that when Team Diamonds was released, as most of the community was aware, the sets were terrible.  The player we wanted for our theme teams, was held by divisional rivals of our teams.  Great idea L😂L....  Cards were not only inflated due to team diamonds, but maybe even a little, petty pricing for wanting to make a set for a divisional rival.  I watched Jamar Chase core set card hit the block for 250k for about a week.  I never bought that card or sold that card.  I was somewhere in the middle with my sales, yet I was hit the ban?  I just don't understand it.  After putting my appeal in, the verdict came denied with the same vague description of "banned due to coin distribution" with no evidence.

At this point, Im out of avenues.  I really just wanted to get on here and say thank you to the MUT.GG community.  I joined the discord sometime in the spring.  Interacted about NFL news, Madden schemes, and just really enjoyed conversations all together in the discord.  I've enjoyed the website.  Playing the griddy, earning GG points, learning about new cards and abilities.  This site just in the past year has grown and been doing a great job.  And all the credit to Rocketz, Slammer, Wizzle, Legend and everyone else involved.  Again, it really sucks that it came to this.  I don't think ive ever been unjustly taken advantage of like this in my life.. And that's saying something.  Good luck to everyone in their gaming.  I pray this nightmare never happens to you.  Take care 🚀

I am with you bro. I got AH banned last night. Not sure why. I bought some eagles card  trying to go 50/50 eagles played a squads game. Came out of the game to finish getting players and was AH banned

You know.  I played squads randomly by chance last week. And sure enough a couple days after I was banned also.  I don’t know if squad had anything to do with it.  Im not knowledgeable enough about EA’s systems to say.  But quite the coincidence.  Sorry for your frustrations man. It’s not right.

you should thank them, they actually did you a favor, just hope somebody else comes out w/ a better game/situation is all you can really do, they were taking advantage of you from the time you bought the original game.

Exact same situation for me! I just put in my ban appeal! I've been working in the cyber security field since 2005 so why would I engage in some bs coin distribution scheme! I literally just got banned from AH earlier tonight after they tried to take all my coins from selling off the TDs I didn't need for my TT! This is ridiculous af!

I’m interested to hear your verdict when it comes in.  I put in a second appeal with more details, so I’ll do the same with an update that.

I will as soon as I get something from them. They tried to to sanction me in MUT23 almost exactly a year ago during team diamonds for the the same false allegations of coin distribution and when I disputed it they reversed it but this is my first time being banned from the auction house

Sir, what does your career choice have to do with whether or not you would buy or sell coins? Not saying that you bought coins or anything I'm just wondering how your occupation was relevant. Lol

Because violating user agreements or online rules of conduct is technically considered a cyber crime which would place my career in jeopardy. That's the only reason I mentioned it as a reference to the severity of consequences any type of false allegations can carry. I should've clarified that from the beginning though, was just caught up in emotions with the subject ya know

IKR! But just imagine the level of seriousness places like Walmart home office & universities put into these things after all the data breaches lol. But you're right, imagine explaining to your family why you got fired smh

So they declined my appeal with literally no explanation. I opened another appeal but wanted to update you brother.
