Old Gen to Current Gen

Right now I’m on old Gen and am just getting back into ultimate team after taking a few months off. I’m going to be getting a Xbox Series X for Christmas and my plan was to just kinda grind and stack coins up until then and then buy an Eagles theme team on current/next gen. I‘m pretty sure they will, but all my coins, players, etc. that I got on old gen will transfer over when I move to Series X, right?

No, your coins and team will not transfer from old gen to current gen. It sucks but you have to start over if you want to play on current gen.

Ths only things that transfer are pre order bonuses and rookie premieres. But several people have reported they didn't even receive those either upon moving to the new console

Well that’s very disappointing, did they transfer in Madden 22 and 23? I could’ve sworn they transferred at some point

They did transfer in previous years. EA has said that splitting up the old gen and current gen markets this year is the reason teams no longer transfer.

That makes a lot of sense, I knew they split the market and that was part of the reason I haven’t played MUT much this year but I didn’t even think abt that. Now I gotta decide if it’s worth starting from scratch in January or just pass on MUT this year

Yeah not anymore.  You’ll be starting with the 68 overall starter team. Can confirm happened 3 months ago
