anyone know how to stop this garbage? Unbelievable this trash is winning madden tournaments. This game is arcade trash. Take fn rpos out of comp mode. Let these fs go wild in all pro. Bring back 2k,
Depends on which RPO.
This is what I use for the RPO bubble screens to slot WRs:
I play the old gen version... but I do think this also works on the current gen version.
If you do this, you have to take it all out. DBs defending the run, the hurdle option, lurks from 10 yards under a route, corner routes, most of the OOP players, press man coverage that presses the receiver all the way down the field. All abilities and factors. Set feet lead, gunslinger, freight train…..yes, all arcadey garbage. 30 yard flat zones. The whole shooting match is junk. Haven’t played a head to head game in years where somebody wasn’5 trying to use any and all of the above to get around the terrible coding that makes up Madden. RPOs are silly arcade garbage, but so is all of it. I ran them all game on Thursday. Beat a guy that crushed the run and ran an insta blitz out of dollar. Turns out, the only thing his magic defense couldn’t stop was a few different RPOs. He was taunting in the first quarter as he got several sacks and a lurk. Then he was yelling into the mike calling me an RPO glitcher. Please.

Pressing the defense causes me problems as my defenders run into one another so close to the line. I come out base aligned in Over G or something with a slot defender and safety over the top off the line.

Depends on what formation you’re in. The way RPOs are coded if you have somebody in the box they’ll try to stop the run. So you need a safety or corner to be guarding the pass part of it

If it’s the instant blitz that I think it is try sliding your line right and blocking 6

Nice. Will do.
the thing about stopping it is, they all can be stopped but in order to do so you have to over compensate man coverage and they can just bomb something else, sh*t is overpowered as hell.
option 1) Cover 4, switch slot to man press the screen and shade underneath… user opposite safety to cover middle/run, shits mad easy
option 2) let them catch 2, user slot on 3rd and pick 6
if you can’t stop Rpo that’s a you problem lol.
RPOs are so easy to stop lmao idk why everyone cries about this. if they run the same formation constantly man coverage stops rpos most times especially playing underneath. And qb contain stops the qb runs all in the same formation Pinching your line with any DT and inside stuff stops the inside run. Those can all be done using one formation. Can’t tell you have many user picks you can get playing the CB while guarding the rpo pass and letting the cpu play the run

My problem is the cpu not doing shit against the run

Let cpu defend the run and you user defend the WR... once you kill the pass switch on to play the runner
