This is exactly why people hate OOP cards now

I’ve never been someone who hasn’t wanted OOP cards in game, nor have I ever hated them. However at some point this needs to stop. How is a defensive end about to be the fastest player in the game, and the best route runner in the game? 

At some point there needs to be some give and take with OOP cards. It’s just ridiculous at this point.

tgis year gets worse and worse. Vea has lined up at FB.  Made sense. TE?  No.  Sweat at WR?  Allen at OLB?  Let’s get a sponge bob tackle and Barbie at punter. They could make her kick animation  like a radio city rockette.

And the nicknames?  Stupid on the uniforms. Most of them were never used more than once in passing.

That kick animation is a really good idea...it would be exactly something EA would consider.

I don‘t care for it, when the OOP card is better than the players normal position card. Shouldn’t happen ever, otherwise that would be their normal spot.

When I was a kid and Bo, Deion, and Brian Jordan played MLB and NFL. I wanted to see how athletes from other sports would fair in Madden. I still wouldn’t mind it today. Some NBA players at TE or an MLB player at QB or soccer player at kicker. However they shouldn’t be the best at the position for too long.

Yea it's dumb that a DE is the best WR in the game lol. I don't care for OOP one way or the other but that's stupid af

Yeah it's such trash. Pandering to little kids and casuals to a fault continues. The real nfl does the same thing, look at all the rule changes theyve made, all the political pandering, all the international games, all the embracing of stuff that doesnt matter like kelce and swift etc same stuff. Its sad.

Agreed 100%. They ruined the sport with all the political and social media bullshit. Who gives a shit about Kelce other than how many TDs he catches in a game and who gives a shit about Taylor Swift at a football game?

 I feel like this year, football in general has been horrendous and not just because my team sucks, it's just all the garbage you deal with while watching a game. What happened to just focusing on the game? You watch 2-3 minutes of football and 8 minutes of awful commercials or 500 shots or Taylor Swift in the audience. Who the fuck cares?

I dislike OOP very much. I first encountered it in NBA 2K when I played for the first time last year and hated it. And this being my first year in MUT (first year in Madden for quite a while) and feel the same way. It’s just dumb.

But the real issue is they kind of make them overpowered. If they made a DL a WR and gave him speed a couple behind the top guys, fine. I could decide not to use them and wouldn’t be at a disadvantage. But when they make them the fastest guy at that position, that’s going too far.

But game companies don’t understand moderation and balance.

I have always disliked OOP players... butit was limited to some holiday "gimickry" so I just ignored it.  The cards were rarely best in class or overpowered.  Now they have an entire promo dedicated to this nonsense?

That being said if it's the best card at that position... he'll be making my squad. 

Can't wait for the new Garo Yapremian as a 95 OVR Quarterback...
