Older QB's regressing

Is it just me or does it seem like whenever new QB's drop, the older ones seem to regress a bit. When I first got Hurts he was a killer, never missed a throw. Now the last week or so it just feels like he's missing way too many easy throws. I noticed this with Mahomes too, but now it seems even worse. Just looking to see if anyone else feels the same way. I wouldn't put it past EA to do some sneaky shit to "push" us along to buying new QB's when they drop. Thanks guys

The answer is Yes... QB's have been getting nerfed for years.

You'll even see some lazy animations when this starts happening. Your WR will play dumb and the ball will float right to the deep safety or some other db who wasn't in coverage.

It's  a warning that your QB  has been nerfed.

Seen other people talk about it before. I've always been skeptical of it myself. Mostly because no on ever provides any hard data. It wouldn't surprise me either way if it was real or not.

Nothing surprises me anymore with EA unfortunately.

Word has gone around for years that they do this to all players, not just qbs and I believe it. It took me years to even believe that chem boosts and abilities did anything beyond cosmetics. Im still unsure of how real all THAT even is. I dont trust most corporations, especially ones with a monopoly who literally won worst company of the year every year for over a decade.

I always Check my overalls in practice mode and they never drop so idk maybe

I used Jalen for a day before reverting to Flacco.  0AP Gift Wrapped was nice and all, but i hated how he sort of floated the ball out there.  I've since upgraded to Will Levis, but seriously considering trying out that Andrew Luck.  I love the fact that one of the better/best QBs in the entire game is easily available for anyone who wants to build it.  Bravo to EA for the Ghosts of MUT drop.  I don't think i've had this much fun in MUT since JAN/FEB 2k23 shortly after i first started figuring the game out and was able to build my 50/50 49ers theme team.

Super interesting to hear that folks experience such dramatic nerfs.  I'll keep an eye on ole mayonnaise boy as long as i continue using him, although i'm not sure how much objective data i'll be able to report back with.

Yea, this was a nice drop. Carmichael is probably one of the most broken cards to ever exist in MUT and lots of other nice cards came out too.
