I was late to putting Avalanche on him until I faced a guy who had it a few days ago. It starts on for 10 plays and if you like laying hitsticks - he definitely separates man from ball. The ball carrier doesn't matter... Henry... Vea... Penn... it comes out.

These OOP linebackers are the cheesiest nonsense in the game. Anyone who needs Carmichael and Gronk to cover the middle is hot garbage and has no dignity in how they choose to compete which unfortunately is about 99% of the player base. I remember when OOP players actually played the positions the cards gave you, now it's just whatever the cheesiest shit EA decides the bums will spend money on to help them think they're good at the game.

Ahhh... so THAT's the cheesiest thing in the game?
Not the constant barrage of RPOs... not the bums who flip their bunch and audible between Bunch and Trips TE literally every play with zero impact on fatigue... not the rotation of three glowing running backs that will always break the first tackle?

It activates with just five tackles by Gronk. If you're usering him... that isn't difficult. There's a reason his price is so high.

2 mill just for an ability is wild, even more so considering the majority who have him will only have it activated in the beginning of the game.
While he is the best user thanks to size strength and smoothness in movement there isn't anything he can do that you can't do with a cheaper player

I have to agree. Of a list of Madden "sins", the bunch/trips te flip cheese has to be number 1. They intentionally try to take advantage of the game's shitty logic and poor coding. I can deal with op users (even though I'm sick of 6 8 Carmichael making picks with his BACK TURNED to the qb).

Avalanche is active for the first 10 plays where he is on defense. I have him as my MLB2 so he's on kickoff coverage as well. I'd say I get a fumble on my first kickoff once every five games... and another on the first or second drive once every 3 games or so. That's worth 2 mill to me even if he wasn't the best user.... but he is.
I sniped him when he dropped for about 1.3 mill but I would easily have paid double that... others have a different coin stack and have to make their own value decisions.

As for avalanche it was awesome on Ray and it's awesome on Gronk. Doesn't only cause fumbles either, justfinished a game where he broke up 2 passes over the middle with hit sticks.
