Does Deep Out KO activate on 30 yard flats on your outside corner?

Just the title. Do KO's activate even if the player is not assigned to that zone when the play snaps. Another example would be if I had Deep out KO and Deep in KO on my FS and he happens to play with in a deep mid zone, would Deep in KO activate even tho he was assigned a deep half?

That's a great question, I want to say yes. It doesn't matter what his orginal zone is, as long as he is 20+ yards down the field.

As long as your defender is in zone coverage, the ball just needs to be over 20 yards and outside the hash marks for Deep Out Zone KO to activate. Same thing with all of the other Zone KO abilities, as long as the ball is thrown into their designated areas, the ability will light up regardless of the actual zone the player is in. 

With that being said, if you blitz your user and have Mid Zone KO on him, he will never light up because he didn't start the play on a zone assignment.

Thank you so much! that make perfect sense PIHCAM, as long as their in a zone assignment at all and it fits the criteria then the KO will light up.
