Does film study work in mut champions?

I have played about 10 games now and it hasn’t lit up once. It will light up in regular h2h but not mut champs. I wonder if this is because champs doesn’t show previous plays. has anyone else got it to work or experienced the same thing?

Weird, it's worked for me today, I had it light up for me in both champs games I played.

I don't know why it wouldn't work in champs. Perhaps your opponents saw you were running film study and called their offense in a way that would avoid it activating?
