You can still play man and make it work. You can’t play straight man though. Pick man blitz plays and start putting your blitzing players into zones, typically flats to stop the corner routes.

This. Man coverage does seem a bit more sticky than in past months, however the meta is Zone for a reason. Man KO abilities are way too expensive and not sure how truly reliable they are. I'd highly recommend having Zone KOs (DOZKO) on both outside corners, then perhaps a mix of DIZKO/DOZKO on one or both Safeties.
Here's a really simple Dollar defense to set up, Cover 3 Cloud Show 2. Be sure to enable your Match coverage settings in Coaching Adjustments, Base align (so outside corners have outside leverage to help defend deep corner routes), press DBs & pinch D-line (or simply pinch your entire D) and possibly/probably shade your coverage down. Last, but not least, take your SUBLB/user and put him on a blitz angle and hover over the offensive line, until you see the green "down" arrow appear over your USER. This will help to sort of "trick" the CPU into thinking you have four blitzers, which should hopefully improve your block shedding timers.
If you're determined to run straight up Man, i would suggest something liek Cover 2 Man, so you've got over top deep safety help. Press, shade underneath and hope for some picks. This works well against the CPU, but not so much against regular players. Tyreek Hill will constantly get 1-2 steps on your defender, at which point it becomes essentially trivial to pass lead the ball into his hands. No KO, no stop. Deep Zone coverage, using Deep Outside Thirds will ensure (even / especially while pressing) that you almost never get beat over the top.
Of course defense is extremely difficult this year, but the solution is KOs, KOs, KOs, IMO.
Honestly only way to run man is if your blitzing pretty heavy and have top tier corners.

Nah I only run man like 2-3 times per game, and usually when blitzing or if know my opponent likes to throw quickly. Gotta make use of those Zone KOs.
also dont want ZC Calvin to get exposed with his low mcv

Yep, people just spam the same crossing plays of play action. Nobody actually knows how’ to play football. They just spam the same play over and over again. play zone that covers the outside. some packages in nickle that helps me personally. Also try to get to the qb quick.. the spam plays take a bit of time to develop. Qb spy is always effective.

Im pretty sure there’s a hidden stat called bat press or something, cause when I was upgrading stocking stuffer KJ Osborn it said beat press went up. Btw I recommend Cover 4 Quarters out of 4-3 Even 6-1 with Deep Out Zone KO on ur top 2 corners, Deep In Zone KO on ur safeties, lurk artist on ur lbs, and a discounted inside stuff (I use Woolen and Hester at corner, Peppers at FS, LTD Bo at SS, Roquan at ROLB, LTD Fred at user MLB, Carmichael at LOLB, and Jalen Carter for discounted inside stuff (I use 50/50 Zero Chill also)) (i would sell Tillman 4 Hester if I was u)

He plays fairly well. That 90 AWR/PRC helps. he’s a bit stiff though and not great in run support. His size helps W swats
i was going to replace him w Tillman though soon. Still rocking 50 ZC

Get used to it. All my corners have 98 speed 99 accel 99 cod and get beat on those routes too.

The other thing I would say is get rid of woolen. I owned him on like five different occasions and kept trying to like him and get him to work for me but he was beyond trash for me. Some people seem to love him but thats my experience.
he's great with DOKO / pic artist in an outside third / outside quarter in zone, he gets cooked pretty often in man though... I have him as CB1 in mainly cover 3 scheme and he's a monster, also spending 4 AP on him with 1 AP pic artist and 3 AP DOKO, he needs pic artist since his catch stats suck
